A suitable method for transforming OTA-C filter circuits working in voltage-mode to current-mode, is presented. First, the ideal behavior of the OTA is modeled using the nullor concept. Second, the transformation process is done by applying a set of four basic rules related to the interconnection pattern of the nullors. Third, the nullors of the transformed circuit are synthesized by OTAs. Finally, the computation of the transfer function of the given and the transformed circuit demonstrates the appropriateness of this method to be used as an analytical tool.
of the nullor are the following: A nsrllator. element is connected at its input port where VI = II = 0. A norutor element is connected at its output port where A method focused on computing symbolic Transfer Functions (TFs) of analog circuits is presented. In order to perform a pure nodal analysis (PNA), all non-NA-compatible ' ' = OC).elements are transformed to be NA-compatible ones us-1 -1 ing nullors. A reasonable amount of computer effort is saved through applying the nullor properties in order to reduce the order of the matrix YNA in one for each nullor. Along the paper, it is demonstrated the suitability and appropriateness of the proposed analysis technique to be used as an analytical tool.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
