also related with atopic dermatitis. suppurative otitis media, dermatophytosis, molluscum contagiosum, impetigo and viral wart was diagnosed 80.12, 125.36, 77.42, 118.85 and 164.43 days after the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis, respectively. Atopic dermatitis patients were at higher risk for molluscum contagiosum (adjusted odds ratio (aOR) 5.273 [95% confidence interval (CI) 5.128-5.422]), impetigo (aOR 2.852 [95% CI 2.766-2.942]), suppurative otitis media (aOR 2.725 [95% CI 2.663-2.789]), chicken pox (aOR 2.251 [95% CI 2.131-2.377]) and viral wart (aOR 1.077 [95% CI 1.022-1.135]). CONCLUSION These results suggest that it is necessary to keep in mind a possibility of infectious disorders in atopic dermatitis patients for proper management.
