Abstract:To solve the assessment problem of underwater radiated noise under the typical transient condition for ship, time-frequency analysis, FIR filter and high-order static are combined based on the energy computation method of transient signal, and the advantage of each method are utilized to obtain the total energy and the characteristic frequency spectrum of transient noise. The comparison platform of transient noise under different conditions is established, so the assessment of ship radiated transient noise can be realized. The experiment is developed under the condition of anchoring at the sea, and the impulse signal and amplitude modulated single frequency signal are both launched. The established assessment method of transient signal are used to analyze the received transient noise, 1/3oct frequency spectrum of transient noise and its energy at the frequency range of 20Hz~50kHz are calculated, the difference between the energy of total frequency and actual amount of energy is less than 1dB. As mentioned above, this method possesses the important engineering application value for the measurement and assessment of ship radiated transient noise.
