Unified approaches to ensuring the chain of survival can improve the patient’s prognosis both in out-of-hospital and in-hospital cardiac arrest.Aim. To discuss practical issues of introducing a program for the availability of automated external defibrillation in a cancer center.Material and methods. For four years, our healthcare facility has been implementing a training program for basic and advanced life support according to the European Resuscitation Council standards, combined with the creation and development of an infrastructure for the availability of automatic defibrillation. A roadmap and infrastructure were developed for the project implementation.Results. In 2018-2022, 229 employees (114 doctors, 85 nurses and 30 nonmedical workers) were trained under the basic life support program. Fifteen defibrillators were placed in various units. During the specified period, first aid in case of sudden cardiac arrest using an automated external defibrillator before the resuscitation team arrival was independently provided by doctors and nurses of departments three times. To implement training in the continuous education system, the curriculum has passed the examination and accreditation in the edu. rosminzdrav system.Conclusion. The development and implementation of such initiatives requires significant organizational and methodological work, including continuous education system. However, in our opinion, this is an extremely useful tool for improving the safety and quality of medical care.
Introduction. Over the past decades, permanent venous access devices, in particular port systems and peripherally implanted central catheters, has been increasingly introduced in adult and pediatric oncology. As far as central catheters and permanent access devices are foreign bodies in basic veins, quite naturally that they are one more risk factor for thrombosis.Material and methods. The authors searched literature data ( in Russian and English) for the period up to May 3, 2022 using public databases (Embase, Medline/PubMed, Researchgate, medrxiv.org, RSCI/eLibrary). The following keywords were used for the search: “port-system”, “peripherally implanted central catheter”, “totally implanted vascular access device”, “venous thromboembolism”, “VTE”, “venous thromboembolic complications”, “VTEC”, “catheter dysfunction”, “device malfunction”. Available preprints, articles with “in press” or “online first” status, and clinical cases were also included in the analysis.Conclusion. This review discusses prevention, diagnostics and treatment of venous thromboembolic complications in cancer patients using similar implantable devices. In patients with catheter-associated thromboses, of practical interest are various diagnostic and curative algorithms, recommendations on the choice of vascular access, medicamentous therapy as well as variants of surgical intervention.
Problem statement. Music art education is the industry, where every country demonstrates the customs and traditions that were created by many generations of methodologies, teachers, performers and musical critics. Thus, the relevant aim of modernization of the higher music education system is the construction of competence model of music art specialist. The aim of this paper is to provide rationalization for the competence model of graduating student of speciality «Music art»; to define the priority tasks of the educational process sent to realization of this model. Research methodology. Interdisciplinary methodology that is based on cooperation general academic (systems analysis, deductive method) and special (historical-cultural, competence) methods and approaches is used in the article. Results. The competence approach allows: to go across from the orientation on the recreation of knowledge to their use and organization; to realize strategy of development of professional "flexibility"; to provide close connection of aims of education with its use in the real life. The theoretical and methodological analysis gives possibility to create competence model of graduating student of establishment of higher music education. This model must contain general program competences and professional program competences. Novelty. The advantages of competence approach in higher music education are analyzed. The competence model of graduating student of speciality «Music art» is grounded and operationalized in terms of programmatic results of education. General and professional program competences of music art specialist are obvious. The priority aims of educational process, directed to realization of this model, are obvious. The practical significance. Research results can be drawn on at the development of standards of higher music education, educationally-professional programs of preparation of specialists, curricula, maintenance of educational disciplines in establishments of higher music education. Conclusion of the research. The competence approach has substantial advantages. The competence model of graduating student of speciality «Music art» must contain general program competences and professional program competences. Priority tasks of the educational process sent to realization of this model: development of professional competence of future specialist; assistance to the professionally-personality improvement of student; development music competence of student.
Abstract. The analysis of the specifics of the transition to distance learning, including online classes, at the Faculty of Music of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture has been carried out. The main strengths and weaknesses of this mode of study, in particular, the features of conducting individual, smallgroup, and current online classes, have been demonstrated; some means of implementing the experience of this mode of conducting classes acquired over the past two years by the academic staff of the Faculty, have been outlined. The need to search for and to introduce into pedagogical practice new forms of educational and research work with students and graduate students under the quarantine caused by the COVID19 pandemic has been noted. A number of creative achievements of students and lecturers of the Faculty of Music of KhSAC over the past two academic years, which became possible not only due to, but also in spite of all the difficulties associated with the reorientation of the Faculty to distance learning, have been presented. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the current tasks facing the creative faculty, which is the Faculty of Music of KhSAC, related to the rapid transition to a distance learning system, and to identify the main directions for their solution. The methodology. The study of this issue has led to the use of comparativeanalytical and experimentalandpractical approaches. The topicality is about understanding the strengths and weaknesses of introducing distance learning at the creative faculty and finding the best options for its application. Conclusions. Analysis of practical creative and pedagogical activities of lecturers and students of the Faculty of Music of KhSAC under the distance learning allowed us to assert that this process has a number of positive and negative features. The positive lies in more free planning by students and postgraduate students of the preparation time and attending classes, in gaining experience in conducting a dialogue not only verbally, but also in writing, in the ability to more closely join modern forms of acquiring knowledge, in particular online, in a more literate and multilayered mastery of both the student and the teaching staff of the possibilities of the Internet, in a creative approach to the forms of presentation by lecturers and the assimilation of theoretical and practical material by students. The positive is the possibility of organizing numerous scientific online conferences, distance festivals and competitions, and so on. At the same time, in conducting individual, smallgroup, and current practical classes, very significant difficulties arise that make it impossible to acquire the entire spectrum of skills and abilities that musiciansperformers and conductors should possess by students of creative educational programs. So, after the consequences of COVID19, distance learning, including the ability to communicate online, should be harmoniously and rationally applied to provide the best possible combination with traditional modes of education that have been developed over decades. Prospects for further research consists in the theoretical and practical development of the best achievements of domestic and foreign lecturers working remotely in the arts, in particular in the music, education sector, in the accumulation of theoretical knowledge while experimenting in conducting individual, smallgroup, and collective online classes in all areas of musical performance, musicalscientific, and musicalpedagogical activity, and in the scientific and methodological comprehension of this process.
