Simultaneous TL and TSEE measurements were carried out with Li2B4O7 glass ceramics in which Cu+ had been implanted and glass ceramics which were made of (Li2B4O7:Cu+SiO2+Pt). For all cases it was found that the TSEE responses were stable and reliable. However, the TL response of the Cu+-implanted samples showed a very unstable behavior, probably because the implanted Cu+ could not find stable sites in crystals under the heat treatment condition adopted in this experiment. It was also found that (Li2B4O7:Cu+SiO2+Pt) glass ceramics had good TL and TSEE responses as solid-state dosemeters.
represents the half-fading time at which the amount of the change in optical density after the re moval of the actinic radiaton is one-half that at equi librium.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
