Introduction: For patients with RP, stenting at the CP seems to relate to an increase of airway stiffness in the affected airway. RP is characterized by the inflammation and destruction of the cartilaginous structure of many organs, including the respiratory tract. The vulnerability of stenting at the CP, particularly in patients with malacia, is the migration of the CP after the initial stenting is performed. Methods: To assess the location of the CP in patients with RP, we measured intra−airway pressure and the cross−sectional area of the airway from the peripheral bronchi to the trachea in 8 patients using new bronchoscopic imagining technology. We also evaluated variable Intra−thoracic stenosis using pulmonary function tests, 3D−CT, EBUS and VRI. Results: For all patients, the CP was detected in the trachea, mainstem bronchus and peripheral bronchi. After implantation of the Ultraflex stents at the CP, flow−volume curves (F−V curve) displayed significant improvements to flow limitation in the patients and pressure differences decreased significantly. However, in 4 patients, migration of the CP occurred in the peripheral bronchi, and the pressure difference also occurred at the migrated CP, and additional stents were required at the migrated CP Conclusion: This study explores the phenomena of CP migration as well as examining the potential pitfalls of CP migration and the necessity of additional stents during stenting. Investigation into the migration of the CP during intervention is imperative for the detection of migration as the implantation of additional stents may be needed. This abstract is funded by: None. The Dias-Tachdjian classification is a common method for classifying the physeal injuries of the ankle in children. But this classification has certain drabacks. The mechanism of the position of foot trauma is complicated. It is difficult to distinguish supination plantar flexion from supination external rotation stage 1.Although the mechanism of Tillaux fracture and Triplane fracture is supination external rotation, they are classified as others. We studied 34 patients with epiphyseal injuries of the ankle in children and investigated the advantages and drawbacks of the Dias classification. The purpose of this study is to apply Lauge-Hannsen classification to physeal injuries of the ankle in children.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
