The conscious consumer regards the act of consuming, taking into account the influences that the purchase will result on the economy, society and environment. In this perspective, the individual reflects on the negative impacts that your purchase can cause in the spheres mentioned above and he is concerned with sustainable development. This can be understood as one that strives for well-being and quality of life of this and future generations. Aiming to contribute to the generation of that consciousness, from the dissemination of information, the present study aimed to verify the habits and the consumption behavior of students from the administration undergraduate program of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. Therefore, a descriptive and quantitative approach was conducted using a structured questionnaire that was developed based on the study of Oliveira, Silva and Gómez (2012). The main results showed that respondents do not perform a conscious consumption.
