Several factors of the physical condition influence the given exercise, from various forms of flexibility training togok, static balance, and eye-hand coordination. These factors exist in the preparation of the given exercise program. This study aims to reveal the effect of togok flexibility exercises, static balance, and eye-hand coordination on the results of shooting petanque athletes in Riau province. This study found that eye-hand coordination was low, and the results of the petanque shooting of Riau province athletes were low. This research uses a quasi-experimental method using an experimental design of treatment by Level 2 x 2, a factorial experiment involving two factors. The sample of this research is 32 male petanque athletes from Riau Province. The distribution of the sample groups using the matching pairing method. This data is then continued with requirements testing and analysis of variance and variance data (ANAVA) 2 x 2. The data analysis results show no difference in the effect between togok flexibility and static balance on the shooting petanque results, and there is no interaction between togok flexibility and eye coordination. Hands-on the results of the shooting. So it can be concluded that there is no significant interaction between togok flexibility exercises, static balance with eye-hand coordination on the shooting results of Petanque Riau athletes.
Smash kedeng sepaktakraw owned by players is not good, so the smash ball is often not directed and stuck in the net. This study aimed to analyze the contribution of leg length, leg flexibility, and foot speed to the kedeng smash ability of extracurricular male students of SMPN 2 Mandiraja Banjarnegara. This study uses regression and correlational methods or the contribution of four variables. The sample used was 30 male extracurricular takraw students at SMPN 2 Mandiraja. The independent variables in thiSmash kedeng sepaktakraw owned by players is not good, so the smash ball is often not directed and stuck in the net. This study uses regression and correlational methods or the contribution of four variables. The sample used was 30 male extracurricular takraw students at SMPN 2 Mandiraja. The independent variables in this study were leg length, limb flexibility, and foot speed, while the dependent variable was smashed kedeng. The instruments used are tests and measurements. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. The results showed: 1) the length of the legs contributed to the smash kedeng by 10.24%. 2) limb flexibility contributed to the kedeng smash by 28.84%. 3) foot speed contributed to the kedeng smash by 21.16%. 4) Leg length and limb flexibility contributed to the kedeng smash by 31.36%. 5) Leg length and foot speed contributed to the kedeng smash by 35. 6) leg flexibility and foot speed contributed to the kedeng smash by 44.49%. 7) Leg length, leg flexibility, and foot speed contributed to the kedeng smash by 47%. There is a contribution from each independent variable, namely leg length, flexibility, and speed, to the dependent variable, namely the kedeng smash in sepak takraw. Physical activity and regular and structured exercises also play an essential role in the ability to smash kedeng in the sepak takraw game.s study were leg length, limb flexibility, and foot speed, while the dependent variable was smashed kedeng. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contribution of leg muscle power, leg shape, and balance with the ability to smash into the game of sepaktakraw in Student education and training Center, at Riau Province. This study uses regression and correlational method with SPSS 20. The subjects in this study were 76 athletes. The results of this study are: (1) contribution of leg muscle power was 13.18%, (2) contribution of leg flexibility was 9.42%, (3) the balance contribution was 7.78%, (4) contribution of leg muscle power and leg flexibility was 24.5%, (5) contribution of leg muscle power and balance were 17.14%, (6) contribution of leg shape and balance was 13.63%, (7) contribution of leg muscle power, leg size and balance were 27.6%. Leg muscle power, leg shape, and balance are interrelated bio-motor abilities. The four variables are correlated, but the contribution is not significant. Leg muscle power related to Kedeng smash has never been studied. Therefore this research is useful in the type of exercise that will provide.
The present study aims at investigating the patterns of language learning strategy use employed by the sixth semester students of English language education program at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember. To achieve this objective, Oxford’s Strategy Inventory of Language Learning (SILL) (1990) along with a background questionnaire (a modified version of Oxford’s background questionnaire) were administered to the participants. The findings indicate that the research participants use language learning strategies at a high rate (more than 60%), but with differences in type and frequency of the individual learning strategies. The students reported a high frequent use of metacognitive and cognitive strategies. Other types of language learning strategies are also used by the students, although the frequency is lower than the previous two strategies. Based on the findings of the present study, some pedagogical implication were suggested to encourage students to reflect on their own strengths and weaknesses in skills and content courses and self-regulate learning so as to make progress with teachers’ assistance. Keywords: language learning strategies (LLS); Strategy Inventory of Language Learning (SILL); memory strategies; cognitive strategies; metacognitive strategies; socio-affective strategies; compensation strategies.
For a professional who follows tournament circuit, strong serve punches are very special capital. In reality, technically the quality of blows is often inadequate. Serve punches that are carried out are very easily returned by the opponent and also do a lot of wrong serve (fault). This experimental study aims to determine the effect of training methods, forms of exercises stretching and grip strength on the flat serve skills of tennis. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Sport of the Universitas Sebelas Maret Negeri Surakarta (UNS) in 2019. The experimental method used a 2x2x2 factorial design. The sample consisted of 80 students divided into 8 groups, each consisting of 10 students. The data analysis technique was a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Tukey test at the significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that: (1) there are significant differences between training methods overall with training methods section of the skills of serve flat tennis courts, (2) there are significant differences between the forms of exercises stretching static form of exercises stretching dynamically to a skill Served flats tennis the field, (3) there is a significant difference between the grip strength above the average grip strength below the average to the flat serve skills of tennis court. It can be concluded that the two types of training methods have different effects on the flat serve skills of tennis court when it is associated with forms of exercises stretching (static and dynamic) and the use of different grip strengths that are above average and below average.
