Corn is a multi-functional plant, both for direct consumption and as the main raw material for animal feed and the food industry. The need for corn in Indonesia, which continues to increase, needs to be balanced with an increase in production. So that various government policy strategies are carried out, in an effort to increase productivity. Constraints in the cultivation of corn, namely farmers have limitations in identifying diseases that attack plants, and ways to control pests and diseases. The purpose of this study is to propose the use of technology in agriculture by developing an expert system for the detection of corn pests and diseases, which will provide information and strategies for controlling pests and diseases, in order to reduce losses due to crop failure. The knowledge base in expert system contains a set of rules that use the IF-THEN pattern, and to reason on a rule base using forward cahaining method. Expert system is a tool to detection pests and diseases and how to control them like providing expert assistance. In addition, system also provides explanation facility related to the diagnosis results, according to the symptoms obtained from the user. The accuracy detecting pests and diseases 76.6%.
Pelajaran Biologi merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang makhluk hidup, umumnya melibatkan obyek-obyek nyata dalam kehidupan. Materi sistem ekskresi, sistem reproduksi manusia dan sistem saraf pusat merupakan materi yang dianggap abstrak, karena siswa hanya mendengar penjelasan dari guru tanpa mengetahui seperti apa sistem ekskresi dan sistem reproduksi itu. Karena tidak adanya media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru di kelas, sehingga siswa tidak dapat melihat obyek dari materi pembelajaran yang dipelajari. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan Adobe Flash dan CMSimple bertujuan agar Guru dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran multimedia dalam menyampaikan materi, sehingga siswa dapat mengetahui obyek pembelajaran yang dipelajari, dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi yang dipelajari. Penggunaan aplikasi media pembelajaran biologi untuk SMP Kelas IX di kelas oleh guru biologi sebagai media alternatif dalam menyampaikan materi biologi yang membutuhkan media pembelajaran di kelas. Aplikasi yang di buat memiliki unsur multimedia, membuat siswa dapat mengetahui obyek pembelajaran yang dipelajari sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan dan meningkatkan nilai siswa. Sign language is a language formed by a combination of finger, hand, body movements and facial expressions used by persons with disabilities such as deaf and speech impaired. One of these sign language recognitions is recognition using Leap Motion Controller (LMC) sensor technology. In addition to the sign language that is formed has diversity such as folded fingers, hidden fingers, indonesian sign forms also have characteristics and shapes that are almost similar to one another. The LMC sensor is not always able to recognize all forms of signs properly. In this study, optimization is proposed at the feature level where optimization aims to provide more detailed features and characteristics of each sign language formed. The stages of the process are designing the layout of the sensors, adding features and combining feature data from each sensor. The test of the feature optimization on this dual LMC sensor can provide an increase in the recognition accuracy of the given Indonesian sign language. The Indonesian sign language can be recognized well with an average accuracy of 87.24% and the optimization carried out is able to produce an increase in accuracy of up to 2.88%.
Fire is a problem that can happen at any time. Delay in coping with house fires can induce in loss of human life or material. If the fire is not held severely, incidents like house fires can occur and create more significant losses, especially with the increasing number of residents’ settlements in the formation of huddled houses, which will be more challenging to handle in case of a fire. This research aims to build a prototype system that quickly helps house owners and firefighters to detect fires and gas leaks. This home fire detection system is utilized to measure room temperature and gas levels in a room, then the output of this system is sending information of short messages and alarms. The results revealed that the prototype room with a scale of 1:25, 1:50, and 1:75 which uses a temperature sensor and a gas sensor could run as desired. In 10 testing trials, the system works according to the designed plan, which means the system could interpret the temperature and gas leakage of a room, then the system will send a short message and ring the alarm.
Makanan merupakan kebutuhan yang paling utama bagi masyarakat maupun pakluk hidup lainya. Pendidiran peternakan harus memperhatikan aspek-aspek yang tidak meresakan atau merugikan masyarakat. Dalam penetuan lokasi pembangunan peternakan tidak hanya dilakukan sesuaka hati saja, tanpa membertimbagkan beberapa aspek diantaranya luas lahan, area pemukinaman masyarakat, jarak tempuh, akses jalan dan kondisi lahan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tiga kriteria diantaranya, askes jalan, jarak dengan pemukiman masyarakat, serta luas area atau wilayah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menampilkan informasi dan memberikan rekomendasi terkait lokasi pembangunan Peternakan baru dengan memanfaatkan model Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) di kabupaten Merauke dengan sample tiga wilayah yaitu, Distrik Semangga, Tanah Miring dan Kurik. Dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil lokasi Distrik Tanah miring memiliki hasil yang paling baik, yaitu 0.5498121, Distrik 0.2381313 dan Distrik Semangga 0.2120566, sehingga menjadikan distrik Tanah miring sebagai lokasi terbaik dalam pembangunan peternakan baru.
