We present the application of 3-dimensional susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) technique for evaluation of pathologies of the spine and spinal cord. This work focuses on the advantage of this imaging technique as an adjunct to the conventional imaging to evaluate various disorders of the spine and spinal cord like trauma, degenerative diseases, vascular malformations, and tumours, where SWI may offer valuable harmonizing evidence that may be helpful in the diagnosis and management of the patients with these pathologies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
