The purpose of this study was to explore Nurse Practitioner students' (1) encounters with obesity stigma and bias in their clinical environment and (2) recommendations to decrease obesity stigma and bias. Results indicate a need for continued education on the topic of weight management during Nurse Practitioner curriculum.

The author reviews prevalence, pathophysiology, assessment and diagnostic considerations, and treatment options for polycystic ovary syndrome to help nurse practitioners recognize it and provide evidence-based patient counseling and management.
