Makalah ini bertujuan mengulas teknologi informasi implikasi dan dan dampak bagi perpustakaan, pustakawan dan pemustaka. Metodologi berbasis studi literature yang berkaitan dengan teknologi informasi selanjutnya digunaan untuk menjelaskan implikasi dan dampaknya bagi perpustakaan, pustakawan dan pemustakan. Teknologi informasi impilikasi dan dampaknya bagi (1) Perpustakaan harus menyesuiakan diri supaya bisa berdampingan dengan teknologi informasi dengan mempersiapkan kebijakan, dana, Software, sistem jaringan, infrastruktur peralatan teknologi informasi, sumber daya manusia yang mampu mengoperasikan teknologi informasi, perlunya pelatihan teknologi bagi pustakawan dan user education bagi pemustaka serta harus menyediakan maupun mengembangkan layanan berbasis teknologi. (2) Agar selalu relevansi dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan mampu menjalan peran-peran baru pustakawan diperlukan dukungan keahlian yang meliputi literasi informasi, literasi digital dan literasi media. (3) Berimplikasi bagi pemustaka antaranya perlu user education, tersedianya e-resources, kemudahan mengakses informasi, dan dituntut memiliki keahlian literasi informasi.

<p>The tradition of establishing a house in Tanjung Pauh, Kerinci contains noble educational values such as deliberation, mutual cooperation, togetherness, knowing and helping each other, monotheism, recalling kindness, and courtesy. Those values are aligned with the concept of character education proposed by Thomas Lickona. The values can be implemented into family education especially in rural communities of Tanjung Pauh, Kerinci. The character values in harvesting rice carried out by the community teach civilized attitude towards plants and sharing with others. Besides, the community also has principles of respect, attention, respect, and compliance with customs regulations. The ceremony is performed based on custom and religious teachings with the intention to reject any disasters experienced by human beings, plants, and animals. Besides, the ceremony performed contains meanings of gratitude to God Almighty in order to reduce the punishment of the grave space, especially for parents who died and owned rice fields. For those who are still alive, these activities are carried out with the hope that everything done runs well, gains healthy bodies and longevity.</p>

This paper aims to review the main expertise that the information community must have over the revolution in information resources on the internet. Literary-based methodology related to literacy, information sources and information tracking strategies. The implication is to help the information society know as well as their expectations in daily life in (1) equipping themselves with information literacy and the success of information literacy can be viewed from the ability of the information community to apply information resources correctly and according to needs, (2) to know the sources of information in internet such as e-book, e-journal etc., and (3) understand information tracking strategies and the need for information search strategies so that they are not trapped with millions of information, are strayed on the Search Engine pages, don't spend long periods of time choosing, filtering or judging information overload, eventually not obtain appropriate information and have an impact on the level of satisfaction. ABSTRAKMakalah ini bertujuan untuk mengulas tentang keahlian utama yang harus dimiliki masyarakat informasi atas revolusi sumber informasi di internet. Metodologi berbasis literature yang berkaitan dengan literasi, sumber-sumber informasi dan starategi penulusaran informasi. Implikasinya membantu masyarakat informasi mengetahui sekaligus penarapannya dalam kehidupan sehari dalam (1) membekali diri dengan literasi informasi dan keberhasilan literasi informasi dapat ditinjau dari kemampuan masyarakat informasi dalam mengaplikasikan sumber-sumber informasi secara benar dan sesuai kebutuhan, (2) mengenal sumber-sumber informasi di internet seperti ebook, ejournal dsb, dan (3) paham strategi penelusuri informasi dan perlunya strategi penelusuran informasi agar tidak terjebak dengan jutaan informasi, tersasar di halaman Search Engine, tidak menghabiskan waktu lama, kebinggungan memilih, menyaring atau menilai informasi yang overload, akhirnya tidak memperoleh informasi yang sesuai dan berdampak pada tingkat kepuasan. PENDAHULUANSejarah revolusi informasi terjadi perbedaan, ada yang mengatakan awal mula revolusi informasi dikenalkan oleh William pada awal tahun 1947 yang menemukan sistim transistor di Labotarium Bell Telephone New Jersey dan dari penemuan tersebut mempercepat transformasi yang berlanjut dengan peningkatan sistem computer. Di versi yang lain diutarakan Wiener tahun 1948 mengutarakan revolusi informasi terjadi setelah perang dunia kedua yang merupakan pengaruh dari pertumbuhan teknologi. Namun penjelasan Webster (1995, 9) dari 1970 hingga 1980 terjadi metafora revolusi teknologi yaitu terdiri revolusi pertanian, revolusi industry dan revolusi informasi. Kajian ini dijalankan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan berbasis pada jurnal-jurnal sains informasi dan kepustakaan berakreditasi sinta berjumlah 25 jurnal. Kajian ini mendapati 49 artikel tentang preservasi di Indonesia diterbitkan sejak tahun 2010-2020. Terdapat 10 topik preservasi yaitu pelestarian naskah kuno atau manuskrip, pelestarian budaya, preservasi arsip, preservasi bahan pustaka, pelestarian pengetahuan dan informasi, preservasi photo, preservasi dokumen, preservasi majalah, preservasi digital, dan konsep preservasi yang didapatkan dari jurnal-jurnal seperti berikut:

This study aims to determine the profile of student political literacy among student organizations PMII, HMI and KAMMI at UIN Sulthan Thaha Jambi. A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews, observations and literature studies was carried out to obtain informant data from each student organization consisting of the General Chair, Deputy Chair of the advocacy section, Secretary General, Action Coordinator.This study shows that being an Islamic student activist is driven by personal internal factors such as a sense of conformity with the ideology and spirit of Islamic da'wah, personal self-awareness and a critical attitude. External factors such as the influence of seniors and a positive image of student organizations. Sources of student political information are conventional media, new media such as websites and social media, discussion forums and experts. The search for political information is driven by the need for political information, leadership spirit, political awareness and interest in understanding the good/bad world of politics. Evaluation of each political information is carried out by comparison of sources and discussion. Political information is useful for students to meet the information needs and discussion material of their peers. Synergy between students, higher education institutions and student organizations is an important factor in increasing political information literacy among students.
