The advantages and problems of different types of artificial feeding are discussed. For patients needing long-term nutritional support, we see the following special advantages of PEG: physiological enteral nutrition with an only small risk of tube dislocation, no additional handicap of the natural swallowing procedure and without stigmatizing the patient by an external visible tube (Tab. 3). To help to spread this method of artificial feeding for the benefit of the patient, this article gives some informations on how to cope with the problems that might occur when using PEG (for example: a diet plan for building up the tube food nutrition (Tab. 4).
Schlª dezentrale Energieversorgung; Brennstoffzellen; Photovoltaikanlagen; Netzimpedanz; EnergiemanagementTechnical and economical aspects of decentralized energy conversion systems in lowvoltage networks. The development of regenerative technologies, e. g. wind-, biomasses-, solar-energy and fuel cells will change the energy-consumption-structure in the next few years. Especially photovoltaic and small fuel cell systems will be connected to the low-voltage-network. In addition to economic aspects, the technical supply conditions are being researched, e. g. the grid-capacity and the needed protective units. At the end, an energy management system, which handles all special requests caused by decentralized energy conversion systems, will be presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
