Through the study, it was possible to verify that the degree of success of innovative solutions strongly resides in the organization's ability to mobilize knowledge and adequately manage risk, although there are still few models that systematically address this association. Presentation of the relationship between risk management and innovation management, emphasizing the dependence of these areas for the success of innovative solutions. Delimitation that innovation needs to be a decision based on information and the main risks inherent to the process, thus minimizing the chances of failure.
