IHC/FISH discrepancies were attributed to basolateral membranous immunoreactivity of glandular cells resulting in incomplete membranous reactivity and/or a higher rate of tumour heterogeneity in gastric cancer compared with breast cancer. With modifications to the IHC scoring system, the HercepTest is considered valid for the identification of HER2+ gastric tumours for this clinical trial. Correlation of HER2 scores with clinical outcomes will be needed to determine which patients might benefit from trastuzumab therapy.
The potential of new natural products as an important source for the exploration and development of new drugs and crop protection products is a long way from being exhausted. The statistical analysis of the structures of the natural and synthetically derived compounds has shown conspicuous variations in structural types in the natural products derived from different natural sources, which can be utilized in the search for individual active substances. The occasionally voiced prepossession that natural products have already been sufficiently examined and therefore no more innovations are to be expected can definitely be rejected.
Further improvement of the temperature distribution is required by refining the implantation techniques or simply by increasing the amount of nanofluid or elevation of the magnetic field strength. From the actual nanoparticle distribution and derived temperatures we can extrapolate, that already a moderate increase of the H-field by only 2 kA/m would significantly improve the 42 degrees C coverage towards 100% (98%). This illustrates the great potential of the nanofluid-based heating technology.
Laparoscopic nephrectomy has become a well established procedure in those urology departments focusing on laparoscopy. The indications and results are reproducible at these centers. However, for patients with severe perinephritis (that is renal tuberculosis, xanthogranulomatous nephritis, posttraumatic atrophy) a higher likelihood of open conversion must be considered.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
