Percutaneous closure of pmVSD when performed in a selected subgroup of patients is associated with similar procedural success rate without increased risk of significant valvular regurgitation or heart block when compared with surgical closure.

The transradial approach to coronary angiography has become a popular technique. Because of potential advantages, the transulnar approach has also recently been described. We report a successful case of transulnar catheterization with documented occlusion of the radial artery and normal inverse Allen test in a patient with limited vascular access.

In this first study evaluating long-term safety and feasibility of transulnar coronary angiography and complex coronary interventions, we conclude that transulnar approach appears to be safe and effective.
