Sebuah ilmu akan lengkap manakala ada interkoneksi atau integrasi satu dengan lainnya dan terkadang ilmu itu berkembang melalui kedua hal tersebut, misalnya matematika yang terintegrasi akan lebih kontekstual apabila diintegrasikan atau diinterkoneksikan dengan bidang lain seperti masalah matematika yang konteksnya fisika, biologi, sosial humaniora, agama dan budaya. Jika dapat mengintegrasikan Islam dari setiap konsep matematika tentunya akan lebih mudah mengembangkannya dalam setiap proses pembelajaran
This study aims to analyze the students’ difficulties of MTs Negeri Surakarta 1 in solving story based problems on the subject of Pythagoras along with its alternative solutions. This is a qualitative descriptive research. This study illustrates the difficulties of students in solving story based problemsof the subject of Pythagoras. Research subjects in this study is composed of three students of class IX with each capable of high, medium and low. The data collection was condducted using the test method and the method of interview. The results of this study indicate that low-ability students have difficulty in determining the direction of wind direction, understand the intent of the language that is understood about the story, the difficulty in making a mathematical model as well as difficulties in the calculation. Difficulties experienced by the studentswith medium capability are determining the drawing of wind direction, understanding the intent of the language that is understood about the story, and making a mathematical model. While the high-ability students have no significant problems in understanding a story about the subject of Pythagoras, they just forgot to add ± sign in the answers, and the unit of length in the final calculation. However, the unit length was written in the final conclusions.

: Basic Mathematics is one of the subjects that must be taken by students of Islamic Education Management Studies Program of first semester in UIN SunanTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode ekspositori pada mata kuliah Matematika Dasar di Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa prodi manajemen pendidikan islam semester satu dengan pengambilan sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel satu kelas yaitu kelas A yang berjumlah 39 mahasiswa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperiment semu. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Uji asumsi meliputi uji normalitas data dengan menggunakan uji Liilefors. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan output uji Wilcoxon diketahui bahwa Asymp Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat diartikan bahwa ada perbedaan antara tes kemampuan matematika dasar mahasiswa sebelum dengan sesudah diberi metode ekspositori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh metode ekspositori pada mata kuliah matematika dasar pada mahasiswa manajemen pendidikan islam.
The demands of professional teachers to design technology-assisted learning that can facilitate all students to develop their potential. the fact that the quality of students' adaptive reasoning in solving math problems is still low which has an impact on other mathematical competencies. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of adaptive reasoning abilities between students who have implemented Search Solving Create and Share learning assisted with Microsoft Mathematics and conventional learning. The method used is quasi-experimental with the non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. Through the Simple Random Sampling technique, two classes were selected, namely class X1 and X2 one of the SMA in Bandung Indonesia. Test instrument: story questions about adaptive reasoning abilities. Analysis using independent T-test data. Result: There is a difference in the improvement in adaptive reasoning abilities between students who using search-solve-create- share learning assisted by Microsoft mathematics compared to conventional learning. Students' difficulties in solving story problems with adaptive reasoning abilities can be minimized by getting used to solving non-routine story problems. Learning search-solve-create-share assisted by Microsoft mathematics accustoms students to convey assumptions, provide reasons for answers, draw conclusions from statements, and students can find patterns of various mathematical problems through multi-interactive media.
