Objective: To study the results of arterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs using arthroscopic assisted reconstructions using harmstrings. A follow-up rehabilitation programme of immediate mobilisation, weight bearing and extension. Setting: The Nairobi Hospital.Results: All the patients had satisfactory results based on patient satisfaction, freedom from pain and range of movements.
Conclusion:Arthroscopically assisted hamstring ACL repair has good results and is to be encouraged.
