The paper presents the concept of algorithmization of the new product process implementation under the conditions of mass production. It describes the methods and techniques in DFA methodology in the new product production implementation. It was discussed influence of these methods to improve the manufacturability of the complex product assembly.
Paper presents the problem of evaluating manufacturability of product design. The issue was described from the point of view of course of assembly operations implementation criterion (Design for Assembly – DFA). Technological assessment of the complex product structure flow is given using Boothroyd & Dewhurst method. Presented flow of the proceedings is illustrated by an example.
The paper presents a methodology for the design of the production process of a new product from the point of view of manufacturability criterion assembly operations (Design for Assembly - DFA) in the automotive industry. Methods and techniques, used in implementation of the DFA method to produce a new product, are mentioned. Impact of those methods on improving the assembly technology of a complex product is described. Suggestions for improving the abovementioned methods are presented, as ell. The examples given illustrate the proposed procedures.
The paper presents a methodology for the design of the production product from the point of view of manufacturability design criterion. The evaluation method from the point of view of machining, assembly and organization of production was discussed on the example of a modified method of assessing the technological character of the structure from the point of view of the assembly operation (Design for Assembly – DFA).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
