This paper shows the results of a survey of damages to spatial structures caused by the earthquake, known as the 1995 Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake. The authors started to survey the damage to spatial structures from the second day of the earthquake. All the results were obtained during their walk through the stricken areas. Although the authors believe this paper may be useful for engineers and researchers, the results of the survey do not serve as a statistical report.
