This article presents systematic literature review related to student academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic in the latest literature. Although there have been similar studies, there are still few that present the newest literature review related to student academic stress during the pandemic. This article uses the systematic review literature method to identify, evaluate, and interpret existing research results with the help of Publish or Perish version 7, VOSviewer, and NVIVO 12 plus applications. The release of articles in scopus indexed journals is limited to three years, namely 2020-2022. From the search results in the Publish or Perish version 7 application, there are 248 articles indexed by Scopus, then selected papers according to compatible themes into 50 pieces. The findings of the topics are stress, students, academic-related stress, academic performance, posttraumatic stress disorder, health psychology, academic achievement, emotional intelligence, depression, COVID-19, online exam, academic success, academic engagement, insomnia, and coping. These 50 articles were analyzed according to the topics set through the NVIVO 12 plus application and described the results according to research questions. This article contributes to subsequent research and studies the theme of student academic stress during the pandemic.
Purpose:The objective of this study was to analyse the impact of the natural restorative environment on the attention and mood of post-stroke clients. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was followed, with pre-and post-tests on a control group. Purposive sampling procedure was used to select 76 poststroke clients -38 each for the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group received natural restorative environment intervention, twice a day for three days, while the control group was managed in accordance with the medical protocol. Before and after the intervention, clients in both groups were assessed for attention and mood. Results: Increasing level of attention and mood was found in the intervention group, verified by p-value= 0.000. Conclusion:Exposure to the natural restorative environment could increase the attention and improve the mood of post-stroke clients. The natural restorative environment helps in restoring the ability to focus and creates a positive mood.
Attention is an important aspect of cognitive development in the perspective of information processing, whereas mood is an affective aspect relating to expectations about positive or negative feelings. Decreased attention and mood in post-stroke patients can cause instability, cognitive impairment, and long-term rehabilitation. These impacts affect the patients’ activity daily living (ADL). Priority of post stroke patient care in hospital was priority on physical problem rather than psychological, social and spiritual problems. Nurses as caregivers in the hospitals should understand in manage bio-psycho-socio-cultural-spiritual problems in post-stroke patients. This descriptive study that used a descriptive qualitative research was conducted to describe the barrier of managing attention and mood in post stroke from the perspective of nurses. This research was a pilot study using qualitative design and involved six nurses at Temanggung General Hospital, Indonesia. The data collection was carried out using in-depth semi-structured interviews. The data analyzed using inductive content analysis. Five themes emerging from data included the nurse's focus on the physical problem, lack of awareness to manage attention and mood, unavailability of early assessment for attention and mood, family participation in nursing care and lack of information about the interventions in handling attention and mood. The initial assessment of attention and mood greatly encourages nurses to provide alternative or complementary nursing that can be administered in the hospital. Nurses’ understanding of knowledge and skills are essential to prevent the impact of reduced attention and mood. The management of attention and mood should be supported by all professional health providers, and facilities in hospitals, as well as the role of the family.
