<p><em>The lack of rainfall and the absence of catchment areas are the main factors of the lack of water in Puron Village. Making biopori becomes solutive because it is useful for water absorption, reducing standing water, composting containers, and fertilizing the soil. Artificial biopores are made by making holes in the ground using tools such as crowbars or using ground drilling machines. The use of aids model adapted to the drill bit based on the state of the soil contour. This research is focused on classifying drill bits and redesigning which is in accordance with the condition of the soil environment in Puron Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency. So that biopori holes can be created more effectively and efficiently. The research method was carried out through the classification of tool drill bits through the house of quality product (HOQ) and redesign using Autodesk Fusion 360 software application. It was found that the design with a screw drill model with a pointed spiral has a high product quality value and can applied in puron Village. The design of the drill bit by adjusting the contours of the Puron Village can make a 100 mm diameter biopori hole. The design specifications of the drill bit with steel cast with 12 spiral plates with a length of 1300 mm with a diameter of 115 mm can be driven with a 10 HP engine. The design results have maximum stress, displacement, reaction force and strain of 3.62 MPa, 0.00081 mm, 0.35 N, and 0.000015.</em></p>
<p><em>The placement of outdoor fitness equipment at tourist attractions is one of the attractions for tourists. Besides that, it can also be used as a means of health socialization for the community in public places. The elliptical trainer type air walker is a popular fitness tool because it is easy to use and has a small risk of injury. Elliptical trainer has a working principle like a walking person where movement is influenced by the force of the hand and leg movements. The design of an elliptical trainer fitness equipment that will be placed in a public place needs to be done to get a good level of security. This article discusses the design of an elliptical trainer device that is safe to place outdoors. The design process uses the Solidworks 2017a application. The elliptical trainer is divided into 4 parts, namely the main frame, drive shaft, hand handle, and leg handle. The manufacturing process is carried out based on Design Manufacture and Assembly and machinery to reduce the risk of manufacturing failure and make it easier to work on. The result of the elliptical trainer design has dimensions of 2,500 x 1,800 x 1,000 mm. The main frame has a safety factor of 3 with a displacement of 8,524e-7 mm.</em></p>
Refiner in the stock preparation unit of paper machine is the most determining factor of paper machine runnability and product quality. On ABSTRAKRefiner di unit persiapan bahan merupakan mesin penting dan sangat menentukan kelancaran mesin kertas dan kualitas kertas yang dihasilkan Di sisi lain mesin refiner merupakan mesin yang mengkonsumsi energi paling besar. Operator refiner sering hanya mengacu ke freeness dan kekuatan serat yang dapat dicapai tetapi kurang memperhatikan jumlah energi per ton pulp yang digunakan serta kapasitas optimal mesin refiner, sehingga refiner sering menjadi bottle neck dan mesin kertas terpaksa menurunkan kecepatan karena ada gangguan di salah satu mesin refiner. Perpindahan massa dan perpindahan energi refiner tidak diketahui secara pasti, akan tetapi terjadi dampak yang signifikan terhadap kelancaran mesin dan kualitas produk. Penelitian ini mengamati kombinasi pemakaian energi dual refining (proses refining pada refiner konsistensi tinggi dan refiner konsistensi rendah) dalam proses pembuatan sack kraft. Specific Refining Energy (SRE) yang digunakan pada refiner konsistensi tinggi (HC Refiner konsistensi 32%) adalah 100 kWh/t, 150kWh/t, 200 kWh/t, dan 250 kWh/t sementara SRE yang digunakan pada refiner konsistensi rendah (LC Refiner konsistensi 5%) adalah 20 kWh/t, 35 kWh/t, 50 kWh/t dan 75 kWh/t. Perkembangan serat, effisiensi energi dan efisiensi jumlah pemakaian refiner diamati. Hasil terbaik adalah pada kombinasi pemakaian 2 buah HC Refiner SRE 200 kWh/t -2 buah LC Refiner SRE 35 kWh/t -2 buah LC Refiner dalam keadaan standby, dengan total pemakaian energi 404,4 kWh/t yang dapat memberikan penghematan energi 0,5% per ton pulp dibandingkan dengan standar operasional kombinasi pemakaian 2 buah HC Refiner SRE 150 kWh/t -4 buah LC Refiner SRE 35 kWh/t dengan total pemakaian energi 406,5 kWh/t. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan pelanggan terhadap hasil produk pengembangan lampu rumah berbasis mikrokontroler arduino yaitu produk lampu Fathlamp. Produk lampu fathlamp adalah produk lampu LED yang bisa dikendalikan dengan jarak jauh menggunakan smartphone android sebagai sakelar dengan memanfaatkan jaringan wifi. Dalam menganalisis kepuasan pelanggan, peneliti menggunakan metode QFD (Quality Function Deployment).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang dilakukan dengan pengambilan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah konsumen pengguna lampu rumah dan data kuantitatif diolah secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil kepuasan pelanggan terhadap atribut produk lampu fathlamp yaitu konsumsi energi listrik lebih hemat dengan prosentase sebesar 18,88%, perawatan yang mudah dengan prosentase sebesar 17,48%, mudah dalam penggunaannya dengan prosentase sebesar 16,16%, bahan yang awet dan tahan lama dengan prosentase sebesar 14,11%, kecerahan cahaya dengan prosentase sebesar 12,9%, desain yang sederhana dengan prosentase sebesar 11,03%, harga yang terjangkau dengan prosentase sebesar 9,44%.

If cooking oil is used repeatedly, the fatty acids will be more saturated and can change color. The waste cooking oil is said to have been damaged and is not good for consumption and can pollute the environment. Appropriate technology is a technology designed for a particular society to be adapted to environmental, political, cultural, social, and economics aspects. The purpose of appropriate technology is to be able to save money, be easy to maintain, and minimize costs to the community. The appropriate technology in this study aims to facilitate the production process of making soap or can also achieve the desired goals effectively in a place or production. The results of this research are mixer and soap products, which are mixers made from used materials to be used as soap making tools. For the processing of soap products, cooking oil waste is used, which is known that the cost of production per soap bar is Rp578.00. Researchers sell it at a price of Rp1,000.00. The Break Event Point (BEP) value is 200 bars of soap per year or Rp200,000.00. Net Present Value (NPV) in 4 years is Rp9,498,061.00, and the Return of Investment (ROI) from the payback period is 0.9 months.
