The present study aimed to determine the compressive strength of masonry units using construction residues and incorporation of Synadenium Grantii, the material was collected in Urb. La Molina -The Baños del Inca Cajamarca, and the Synadenium Grantii plant in the town of Santa Barbara, this study was developed in two stages, the first consisted of the demolition of this waste and later the analysis of materials, prior to the elaboration of the units, and obtaining the optimal design of the mixture was proceeded to the second stage which was the analysis of the handcrafted units through the CINVA RAM machine provided by the Private University of the North, finally using construction residues with and without addition of 10% of Synadenium Grantii, giving a curing time of 7, 14 and 28 days, the results of compression resistance of units without addition of 41,063kg/cm 2 , 45,005kg/cm 2 were obtained, 47,025kg/cm 2 respectively, for the units generated with the addition of Synadenium Grantii they reached a resistance of 40,188 kg/cm 2 , 41,072kg/cm 2 , 43,639kg/cm 2 in 7, 14 and 28 days of curing, which did not satisfy the hypothesis, since the addition reduces the resistance of the units, however, it is determined that it is suitable for minimum uses required in 1 or 2 story dwellings.
