Risks are often associated with negative situations that can lead to threats to the continued performance of an organization. To reduce, analyze and evaluate, various methods and systems of risk management appeared, which in recent decades have become the goals of enterprises and have formed whole systems of risk management included in the main direction of modern management. In this paper, the main methods, as well as modern models of risk management, are considered, and the method for assessing and analyzing risks of an enterprise is developed. Due to flexibility and simplicity of the applied tools for creating a theoretical method, it can be integrated and adjusted to any organization’s requirements.
Culture is an integral part of human formation, and environmental culture determines a person’s willingness to make environmentally friendly decisions in all areas of activity. It is the level of ecological culture that determines the practical readiness to responsibly treat the environment of both employees and managers. To this end, this article explores the problem of an insufficient level of ecological culture development of employees and managers of enterprises that entail a deterioration in the environment quality. When studying this topic, special attention has been paid to the implementation of an environmental management system based on the sustainable development principles. The methods to increase the interest of managers in the introduction and implementation of the environmental management system, based on the European Union experience, and ways to improve the environmental culture of employees in the enterprise are analyzed. The result of the study is practical and theoretical methods for improving environmental culture, based on early scientific research in this area and personal opinions of the authors.
Environmental culture is the main factor in the organization of an environmentally oriented specialist. It is the environmental culture and consciousness of the specialist that is the key to their practical readiness to treat the environment responsibly and take enviro-oriented decisions using the received knowledge. Consequently, the matter of the development of environmental culture of the student is a relevant research topic. Students, who are future professionals, must clearly understand the level of their impact on the environment, have proficient knowledge in the field of environmental science, and use it as a basis for decision-making. For that purpose, we conducted research on the environmental culture of the students of technical faculties. According to the received data, we identified several problems. Supported by the earlier research of scientists in this sphere and personal opinion of the authors, we proposed practical methods of raising the students’ environmental culture which can add to the existing knowledge in this sphere. The results of the research are presented in this paper.
