Aim:The micronutrients and antinutrients of leaf extracts of Pterocarpus soyauxii and Pterocarpus santaiinoides were investigated. Methods: The leaf extracts were air-dried for 7 days and pulverized using a mechanical homogenizer, and then passed through a 0.5 mm size mesh sieve. They were subjected to atomic absorption spectrophotometry, standard titrations, and quantitative assay for micronutrients, vitamins, and antinutrients determinations, respectively. Results: The micronutrients assay revealed the presence of calcium (Ca 2+
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
