Photoinduced changes of transmittance and refractive index of 5CB nematic liquid crystal doped with anthraquinone dye under the action of femtosecond laser pulses are studied. The processes are considered in terms of strong interaction between liquid crystal matrix and dye molecules that is demonstrated by the example of fluorescence spectra.Spatial profile transformation of the femtosecond laser beam
Dielectric properties of new composite material single crystal KDP matrix with incorporated anatase nanocrystals were investigated by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy in a wide temperature range. It was shown that anatase nanoparticles significantly effect on dielectric properties of KDP crystals in THz range. It was obtained that dielectric permittivity drastically changes at the temperature below phase transition
Paper contains experimental results and theoretical estimations of quasi-phase matched second harmonic generation in PPLN, where the nonlinear grating vector is noncollinear to wave vectors of fundamental radiation and its second harmonic.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
