Cze el IOSIO vakia)The procedure for the determination of the plutonium isotopic composition and content in irradiated uranium fuel of a heavy water nuclear reactor by measuring 137 Cs, 13i Cs and 106 7?M activities Jias been experimentally tested. The testing uas performed on an irradiated fuel from the First Czechoslovak Nuclear Power Plant Al. The accuracy of the obtained results ivas determined by comparison icith the results of mass spectrometric measurements. Tlie difference of both results vary between 1 and 9%. The causes of deviations were analyzed, and the influence'oj the error of the gammaspcctromelric measurements on the accuracy of the investigated procedure has been estimated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
