A method to calculate heavy nucleus collision cross sections based on the analogy between the Cxlauber-Sitenko multiple scattering theory and statistical theory of liquids is suggested. Extensive use is made of the scaled particle method in the Rowlison-Widom model to calculate the free energy and the partition function.
