A computer model of the car suspension in the SimInTech program has been developed. The model includes three «Inertia» blocks, corresponding to the weight of the wheels and the body of the car. The spring elements are defined by the «Translational spring» blocks, and the damper elements are defined by the «Translational Friction damper» block. The impact from the road is considered in the form of some equivalent sinusoidal oscillations of the forces applied to the wheels, taking into account their phase shift and the speed of the car.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
