Phys. Rev. 185, 1416(1969.BThe statistical factor and the isospin-exchange factor are included in the normalization of Ref. 23, so that we have divided our result by 6 in order to make a direct comparison. The energy levels and transitions of~Au have been examined by high-resolution measurements of the y rays from the (n, n'y) reaction for incident neutrons between the energies of 0.2 and 2.2 MeV. The level scheme, up to an excitation of 1308 keV, is compared with a recent neutron time-of-flight study, and several new levels are proposed. Differential y-ray production cross sections at 95' are given and spin and parity assignments for levels in this nucleus are discussed.
High-resolution measurements of the deexcitation y rays from the~5As(n, n'y) reaction have been made at 0.1-MeV intervals for incident neutrons between the energies of 0.8 and 2.2 MeV.These y rays are assigned to energy levels up to an excitation of 1606 keV in~~A s. The level scheme is compared with that obtained in a recent resonance scattering experiment, and several new levels are proposed. Branching ratios and differential y-ray production cross sections at 95' are determined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
