Progressive building materials and technologies can ensure not only the durability of buildings and structures that are operated in difficult conditions and the consumption of a minimum amount of energy with little impact on the environment, but also will contribute to the creation of an effective and harmonious architectural environment in accordance with the requirements of sustainable development. An important role in solving these problems is assigned to recycled (reusable materials); traditional natural and local building materials that due to technical progress have gained new prospects for use in modern environmental and energy-efficient structures and buildings (“old-new” natural materials); nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, the use of which will not only improve the quality and properties of materials, and, accordingly, the environment, but also create completely new materials and architectural solutions with a set of properties. The purpose of this study is generalization, systematization and examination of these innovative materials and products.
The article is devoted to the study of the organization of air medicine and the architectural design of helipads in hospitals located in an urban environment. Also, the article has an attempt to draw public attention to the inevitable development of air medical aviation as a new and promising type of emergency medical transport in dense urban areas, which, in the processes of urbanization, will be aggravated by blocking the possibility of automobile movement in the city. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main problems and difficulties that accompany the design and operation of medical helipads in an urban environment, as well as to propose and systematize the main features and parameters that must be considered when designing helipads in hospitals. Methodology: the study consists of a systematic, and comprehensive analysis of the problems of architectural design of hospital helipads. The study used the analysis of literary, normative, informational sources, graphic-analytical methods, photographs and field research. The research methodology consists of a set of methods of practical, theoretical, empirical, retrospective and factor analysis. Conclusions: when designing a heliport in a hospital, it is essential to provide the shortest and safest route for a patient to the intensive care unit or operating room. Helipads for medical use are best located directly on the hospital grounds (on the roof of a hospital building or outbuilding, on the ground). It is also necessary to take into account the presence of a network of public heliports, which will create the possibility of landing and takeoff of medical helicopters in different parts of the urban space.
Abstract. The purpose of this research is an attempt to identify and analyse the modern conditions and impacts of the creation of architectural environment and on this basis to determine the main directions and tasks of the development of architecture at the appropriate hierarchical levels. A comprehensive review and structural analysis of all impact factors and different current conditions that lead to the sustainable architecture design are conducted in the proposal. The main groups of factors and conditions such as social-economical, natural-geographic, urban, ergonomics, ecological, typological, technical, cultural, and aesthetics are determined in accordance with their contemporary specifics. This analysis provides an opportunity to define the appropriative hierarchical levels of the modern trends and prospects of creation an effective, attractive and friendly architectural environment. Some examples of author's projects and implementations is presented in the article. Such methodological approach will help to create a holistic view of the creation architectural environment, will allow to systematize existing knowledges and concepts, practices and prospects of the means and methods of its formation and development.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
