The plan of expanding of the territory of Moscow was officially presented on July 11, 2011, and was implemented on July 1, 2012. Affiliated territories were called New Moscow (another variant is Big Moscow). As a result, the area of Moscow increased 2,4 times, and the Russian capital took the 6th place in the rating of the largest cities in the world in terms of area. The extension of Moscow is chosen in the southwest direction as optimal for urban planning, transportation and environmental functions. Besides small territories on the western side of Moscow region, two large and holistic territories were joined with Moscow-Troitsky and Novomoskovsk districts, which were transformed into administrative districts with the same names (in the reduction T&NAD). The affiliated territories are divided into zones of varying degrees of urbanization. Currently, their active development and building are planned in accordance with the selected functionsadministrative-business, health-improving and recreational. The development of new territories provides for the creation of 12 "points of growth" for various purposes. Also the building and expanding of the road network is planned. The territory of New Moscow is rich in natural and cultural resources, many interesting objects of cultural heritage, red book species of plants and animals. It is necessary to plan the development of the territory, which will basically preserve these objects, as well as existing natural and cultural landscapes. Besides in New Moscow exist some environmental problems which should not be exacerbated during the development of T&NAD as a part of the Moscow agglomeration. The created map of T&NAD reflects settlements subdivided by population, administrative centers of settlements, transport, the main directions of urban development, the territories of highpriority building and points of the economic growth. The map can be used in the management of territories, the Moscow science, the education, scientific and practical activities.
One of the indicators of the ecological state of the territory is an indicator of the number of protected species of biota as an element of the natural heritage, which is directly dependent on the state of the environment and nature conservation activity; at the same time, the state of species of biota is important, which categories and protection status speak about. On the territory of New Moscow live animal species that are currently listed in the Red Book of the Moscow Region [2018]. In 2012, these territories were transferred to the capital, and their development is planned within the city. However, the registration of protected species has not yet been combined with the accounting in the metropolitan territories. The development of New Moscow in the rank of the capital will inevitably lead to an increase in anthropogenic load and the environmental situation will worsen, which even now is not everywhere favorable. The species that are found in New Moscow (was studied the territory of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts — hereinafter the TNAD), in Moscow, as a rule, have a higher protection category or do not occur at all. Many of these species are listed in the Red Books of regions adjacent to Moscow region, and some in the Red Book of Russian Federation [2001]. There are species that are also included in international environmental programs, Red Books and specialized environmental actions of different countries or groups of countries. In the article species considers from this point of view, compares with the Red Book of Moscow, provides a list of protected species of animals and maps of species findings, with considering the ecological situation. On the territory of TNAD, currently 67 species of animals are listed in the Red Books in different categories, among them are 3 species of mammals, 20 — birds, 2 — reptiles, 2 — amphibians, 1 — fishes, 39 — invertebrates (37 insects, 1 a representative of the class of gill legs and 1 — gastropods). In the process, maps of the Red Book of the Moscow Region [2018] for individual species are summarized and 5 maps of finds were compiled for classes and large groups of protected animals in 5 protection categories.
The largest countries of the world are inevitably involved in various global processes, both natural and socio-economic. These countries have common features and characteristic differences in the state of their territorial resources; the study of these characteristics is of interest for the global prospects of sustainable development. A large territory provides a variety of natural conditions and resources for the country; however, not in all countries it is possible to effectively use them in the economy throughout the all country. An analysis of their territorial resources was carried out for the six largest countries of the world according to the following parameters: area, efficiency, environmental load on the territory of the country, number, density, forecast of population growth or decline for 2050, main agricultural land (arable land, pastures, the provision of the population, degradation and pollution of the soils), forest resources (including security per capita, share in the area of countries), fresh water resources (including per capita provision and availability), greenhouse gas emissions, including per capita, the proportion of mammals endangered, proportion of areas of preserved ecosystems. The data obtained was displayed on the maps; a common legend is built for them in tabular form. A number of other parameters of the state of territorial resources and the environment were also studied. In the process of research, the most important cities of these countries were also studied and diagrams showing their similarities and differences in a number of indicators were constructed: area, population and population density, time of foundation, climatic and landscape parameters, the presence of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, high-rise construction parameters. The developed methodology is effective for assessing a variety of data on territorial resources that can be used to build models of sustainable development of the largest countries and regions of the Earth.
