Recruitment of inner-city fathers/partners for a breastfeeding education program was feasible, and among men who attended, fathers' perceptions about their breastfeeding knowledge were positively impacted.
Through community-academic partnership, we identified intervention components that significantly increased the odds of breastfeeding in this high-risk population and can inform future collaborations.
