Introduction-Landomycins are a subgroup of angucycline antibiotics that are produced by Streptomyces bacteria and possess strong antineoplastic potential. Literature data suggest that enhancement of the therapeutic activity of this drug may be achieved by means of creating specific drug delivery systems. Here we propose to adopt C 60 fullerene as flexible and stable nanocarrier for landomycin delivery into tumor cells. Methods-The methods of molecular modelling, dynamic light scattering and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were used to study the assembly of C 60 fullerene and the anticancer drug Landomycin A (LA) in aqueous solution. Cytotoxic activity of this nanocomplex was studied in vitro towards two cancer cell lines in comparison to human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) using 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2-H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) test and a live/dead assay. The morphology of the cells incubated with fullerene-drug nanoparticles and their uptake into target cells were studied by scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence light microscopy. Results-The viability of primary cells (hMSCs, as a model for healthy cells) and cancer cell lines (human osteosarcoma cells, MG-63, and mouse mammary cells, 4T1, as models for cancer cells) was studied after incubation with water-soluble C 60 fullerenes, LA and the mixture C 60 + LA. The C 60 + LA nanocomplex in contrast to LA alone showed higher toxicity towards cancer cells and lower toxicity towards normal cells, whereas the water-soluble C 60 fullerenes at the same concentration were not toxic for the cells. Conclusions-The obtained physico-chemical data indicate a complexation between the two compounds, leading to the formation of a C 60 + LA nanocomposite. It was concluded that immobilization of LA on C 60 fullerene enhances selectivity of action of this anticancer drug in vitro, indicating on possibility of further preclinical studies of novel C 60 + LA nanocomposites on animal tumor models.
Modern education systems face new possibilities of application of innovative technological decisions in education that promote adaptive learning systems. Nowadays artificial intelligence becomes the central element of these systems and the basic tool to obtain competitive advantages on education services market. Thus, the aim of our research is to determine main trends, challenges and opportunities in application of artificial intelligence in education, exploring financial and social benefits, prospects and threats of that process. In order to achieve main aim of the research, some general and specific methods, such as content analysis, synthesis, abstraction and logical-graphic structuring, were used. Main trends are presented from three points of view: new horizons of teaching and learning opportunities, new threats for teaching and learning opportunities, and new financial and economic opportunities. Despite the social threats of AI usage, such as risks of human teacher unemployment and social interaction destruction within the learning process, market of AI for education systems steep increase. The highest rates of growth are typical for Asia-Pacific region, particularly for fast-growing economies such as China, and South Korea; North America market for AI in education still maintains the lead. Comparing trends in AI spread in education with financial successes of these countries we conclude that AI use in education systems can mitigate social drawbacks via greater accessibility for knowledge, higher quality of the educational process, individual and country competitiveness increase. Consequently, investments in innovation and promising AI programs in education remain a priority for economic growth and demand further support of educational policy makers.
Economic processes in the world are characterized by a high level of dynamism, change and innovative approaches to addressing key issues in nowadays. In a context of globalization and European integration of Ukraine into a high-tech competitive environment in order to financing innovative projects, it is necessary to use Blockchain technology as an effective tool for digital economy. Purpose of scientific research is to find out key priorities and functionalities of Blockchain’s application for solving business and government tasks. The object of scientific research is the latest financial technology Blockchain and a system of cult-technologies: crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdinvesting. Methodology. In the process of research, the following methods are used: generalization is used in studying the nature, preconditions and principles of Blockchain technologies; formalization is used when comparing characteristics of the latest forms of financing, such as crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdinvesting. In the course of scientific research, key qualitative characteristics of digital economy are described and the dominant components of its development are investigated. The result of the article. The priorities, new principles of business management and possibilities of Blockchain technology as an effective digital economy tool for solving business and government tasks are revealed. Future prospects from the implementation of crowd-technologies as an effective management tool in progress for solving the problems of innovative business are substantiated. Interconnection in the latest financial institution of creative initiatives realization is presented. The comparative analysis of management of new institutes of innovative development for Ukrainian economy in the course of doing business is carried out. The result of the research is presentation of the relationship in the latest financial institution implementing creative initiatives and a comparative analysis of new institutes of innovative development in the sphere of finance for the Ukrainian economy. Practical implications. The components of digital economy identified by the authors in the article are accelerators of the socio-economic life of Ukrainian society in the modern world and are capable of rapidly increasing Ukraine’s GDP. The described new forms of financing of Ukrainian startups (crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdinvesting) are today quite interesting and effective tool for solving business problems in the financial, economic, innovative and marketing spheres. Value/originality. Blockchain technology, as an effective tool for Ukraine’s digital economy, is able to address the challenges of business and government, uncover the relationship between crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdinvesting, and explain the content of innovative financial institutions for Ukraine’s economy.
