Abstract. Bioenergetics (obtaining of energy from biomass) is one of innovative directions in energy branch of Ukraine. Correct and reliable estimation of biomass potential is essential for efficient use of it. The article reveals the issue of estimation of potential of biomass, obtained from byproducts of crop production and animal breeding, which can be used for power supply of agricultural enterprises. The given analysis was carried with application of common methodological fundamentals, revealed in the estimation of production structure of agricultural enterprises, structure of land employment, efficiency of crops growing, indicators of output of main and by-products, as well as normative (standard) parameters of power output of energy raw material in relation to the chosen technology of its utilization. Results of the research prove high energy potential of byproducts of crop production and animal breeding at all of the studied enterprises, which should force its practical use.
A study of evolution of the organization of production as a science has been conducted, beginning with the mechanized one and ending with lean production – from Fordism to Toyotism. The purpose of the research is to familiarize with the basic principles of organization of production in accordance with the concept of Toyotism and to provide recommendations that can serve as a basis for the formation of modern production systems in Ukraine. It is proved that Ukraine’s aspiration to integrate into European and world economic structures requires mastering of new principles of organization of production and business. In view of this, the research of the concept of business philosophy of Toyota Company, known in the world as Toyotism, was proposed. In authors’ opinion, the tools and methods for improving the quality of production, such as Just In Time (minimizing inventory), Kaizen (increasing the efficiency of using creative potential), Jidoka (exclusion of product defects), Heijunka (synchronization of production and management) are worth of particular attention. An important component of the concept is to identify and prevent the main types of losses (overproduction, waiting (time loss), unnecessary transportation and unrealized creativity of employees). In this context, the experience of using the 5S program, which includes a number of activities (steps) to eliminate losses, is of interest. The principles of Toyota, which underlie the formation of the Toyota Production System (TPS, the so-called Toyota House, or TPS-House), have been analyzed. Implementation of the main objectives of the TPS, including the high morale of workers and safety of work, excellent quality products at low cost and extremely short lead times, is especially relevant for domestic enterprises. It has been shown that introduction of Japanese management system does not guarantee the achievement of desired goals, although Japanese concepts and management methods are used throughout the world. A significant obstacle to this may be a cultural difference; so in the future it is expedient to study the activities of companies that have implemented the Japanese management system and have a stronger position in global markets.
The research aims to characterise the optimisation of a technological process depending on the main time parameters for production. The optimisation does not require to correct technical parameters of a system, but rather the organisational and managerial factors of the technological process. The workload is taken as an evaluation criterion, which factors in the probability distribution of time characteristics of computer process operations. Time characteristics that represent the performance of an operation influence the workloads of an operator and equipment, determining the productivity of the technological process. Analytical models were developed for the operational control of a production line efficiency considering the probability–statistical parameters pertaining to the performance of operations and technological equipment peculiarities. The article presents research results, which characterise the dependence of a production line efficiency on the type of equipment, and the duration of preparatory and final operations considering their probability. Under an optimal workload of the operator, the duration of the complete program changes linearly, regardless of the time required for the performance of operations by a computer without the involvement of the operator, and depending on the type of equipment. A managerial decision can be optimal under the condition that the factor of technological process efficiency (K_TP) tends to max. The developed method of analytical determination can be used to calculate the workload of both an operator and technological equipment. The calculations of the duration of a production line operation resulted in the methodology for the consideration of probability characteristics pertaining to the time distribution of the period required to perform operations, which influences the unequal efficiency of the production line. The probabilistic character of time distribution related to intervals of performed operations serves as a parameter in the management of technological process optimisation, which can be achieved using simulators of technological processes optimised in terms of their efficiency.
