Pelaksanaan peningkatan mutu di rumah sakit masih kurang memuaskan. Masalah ini disebabkan salah satunya adalah dengan belum terlaksana dengan baik pelaksanaan audit keperawatan oleh komite keperawatan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pelaksanaan audit mutu profesi keperawatan di Rumah Sakit A, Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pilot study pada ruangan keperawatan dengan pelibatan dari perawat manajer dan perawat klinis sebanyak 140 perawat. Dimulai dari tahap pengkajian, wawancara, observasi, penyebaran kuesioner dan focus group disscussion, dan analisis fishbone dengan ditemukan masalah bahwa audit profesi keperawatan yang menjadi tugas subkomite keperawatan berpotensi di tingkatkan. Implementasi yang dilakukan adalah pembuatan pedoman, tim auditor, tools audit dan pelaksanaan audit keperawatan. Hasil: Pelaksanaan audit telah dilaksanakan dengan penentuan topic adalah serah terima antar shift. Belum optimalnya pelaksanaan serah terima antar shift menjadi hasil dari pelaksanaan audit keperawatan. Kesimpulan telah terlaksananya penyusunan pedoman audit mutu keperawatan di RS A, terbentuknya tim auditor dan telah tersusunnya tools dalam pelaksanaan audit keperawatan. Telah dilakukan pelaksanaan audit mutu profesi keperawatan dengan topik serah terima antar shift dan hasilnya bahwa serah terima antar shift berpotensi untuk dioptimalkan. Rekomendasi pengesahan pedoman audit keperawatan, pelaksanaan audit keperawatan dengan topik sesuai dengan kebutuhan komite keperawatan dan re-audit secara berkala. Dukungan dan komitmen dari setiap staf manajerial serta adanya kepedulian dan komitmen dari perawat klinis dapat membangun perubahan bagi rumah sakit. One of the causes of this problem is the inadequate implementation of nursing audits by the nursing committee. This study aims to identify the implementation of the nursing profession audit at Hospital A, West Jakarta. The method used is a pilot study in the nursing room with the involvement of manager nurses and clinical nurses as many as 140 nurses. The analysis from the assessment stage, interviews, observation, distributing questionnaires and focus group discussions, and fishbone analysis found that the nursing profession audit was the task of the nursing subcommittee that was being improved.
