The composite material of BaFe12O19/ZnO has been fabricated via the solid-state reaction technique with calcination temperature at 900 o C for 4 h. The mixing and the milling processes were conducted using High Energy Milling (HEM) for 3 h in a toluene medium. The optimal condition of the sample BaFe12O19/ZnO was attained with the composition of 50:50 wt%. The XRD analysis revealed the emerging of two phases occurs including BaFe12O19 (the primary phase) and ZnO (the secondary phase). Additionally, the SEM images confirmed that the particles of the composite were granulated with average particle sizes of 3-5 µm. While the VSM examination showed that the Zn addition as a composite material decreased the magnetic properties. Moreover, the I-V measurments showed that nonlinear line increased with the addition of ZnO as a composite material in BaFe12O19/ZnO. Tge optimum magnetic properties was obtained for BaFe12O19/ZnO presented in the following: Ms = 39.91 emu g -1 , Mr = 22.61 emu g -1 , Hc = 2917 Oe, respectively. From the electromagnetic characteristics were obtained that the BaFe12O19/ZnO composite material is suitable for a candidate as the micro-wave absorber.
The strategy adopted by the principal is the most decisive factor in the success of quality improvement at SDN 066043, Medan Helvetia District, Medan. The purpose of this study is to describe the principal's strategy of planning, implementing, monitoring and constraining. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are Observation, Interview and Documentation Study. The research subjects were the Committee, Principal, Teachers and Students. The results showed: 1) Principal's strategy in planning to improve the quality of learning is to invite all school members and cooperate with committees, teachers and the community in order to improve the quality of education in schools 2) Principal's strategy in implementing improving the quality of learning is that teachers who Caring for all fields of study is already a professional path. 3) The principal's strategy in controlling quality improvement is that supervision is carried out in every aspect that is considered related to improving the quality of learning in schools. 4) The principal's strategy in terms of quality improvement barriers are: principals find it difficult to allocate time in improving the quality of learning in schools, then cannot control all activities to improve the quality of learning in schools.
Penelitian karakterisasi pasir merah sebagai bahan campuran beton telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui strukturnya dengan berbagai pengujian.Beton dibuat berbentuk Balok 15 x 15 x75 cm dengan standart SNI K123. Pada penelitian ini dibuat agregat halus (pasir merah) sebesar 25%, 50%, dan 75%, dari berat agregat halus yang digunakan. Setelah melalui masa 28 hari kemudian beton diuji dengan metode Uji Impak dengan prosedur yang ada. Pengujian SEM pada Pasir Merah setelah di ayak. Dari hasil pengujian, diperoleh Hasil pengujian SEM memperlihatkan bahwa rongga pada pasir merah ukuran kecil, halus ukurannya bisa mencapai 1 µm-10 µm.Pengujian XRD Pada Pasir Merah setelah di ayak, dicuci dan dikering. Dari hasil pengujian, diperoleh Hasil pengujian XRD terdapat unsur-unsur seperti SiO2 (silikon Oxide), TaO2 (Tantalum Oxide), FeNi (Iron Nikel), FeC (Iron Carbide), TaO (Tantalum Oxide), Fe2C (Iron Carbide) memperlihatkan bahwa grafik menunjukkan nilai intensitasnya silikon pasir merah tinggi. Dari hasil pengujian impak diperoleh kuat patah maksimum beton pasir merah pada komposisi 50% dengan kekuatan 18,6 Mpa. Hasil ini melampaui kekuatan yang ditetapkan oleh Badan Standart Nasional Indonesia.Hal ini dimungkinkan oleh ukuran pasir yang lebih halus dan kandungan silicon yang lebih banyak.
