This research paper introduces results of research through analyses of a significant number of activities, aimed at preventing the negative impact of tourism in the area of its operating, observed through a selected number of exemplified managing system protections, in particular world's natural sites, including the Republic of Serbia. Important models of protection are presented through numerous case studies, among which, especially observed, and noted in this research paper are: establishing site protection status on an international and local level, zoning of tourism and site carrying capacity. Taken into consideration, these models can give positive results by contributing the planning strategies of other countries or regions, including the Republic of Serbia. With regular monitoring, they are to bring constitution to novel or implement the existing measures of protection, aimed at promoting positive ecological and social long-term outcomes.

The subject of the research is the application of certain ethical principles in the implementation of complementary medicine in health tou rism from the aspect of medical ethics and business ethics in tourism. The aim of the research is to identify the importance of applying certain ethical principles in the implementation of complementary medicine in health tourism. Bibliographic-speculative and descriptive analytical methods were used. The research showed that the application of all ethical principles contained in the Declaration of Helsinki, the International Medical Code of Ethics and the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism is significant and justified in implementing complementary medicine in health tourism, given the structure of beneficiary tourists and the range of services provided within health tourism. The potentials of complementary medicine in terms of its implementation in the corpus of health tourism are still underutilized in the Republic of Serbia, so they could be the subject of some future research in which the application of ethical principles contained in the mentioned documents would be an integral part of them.

The subject of this research is to look at the attitudes of spa tourists towards complementary medicine and the possibilities of its application within spa services. The aim of the research is to identify certain scientific results that can contribute to the creation of an adequate tourism product. In the research, a prospective study is used and it was done by applying a standardized questionnaire. Testing the correlation of the answers given was examined and shown by the Analysis The Pearson Correlation method. The obtained results confirmed the hypotheses: complementary medicine is a significant component of the sustainable development of health tourism in spa destinations in Serbia, and that the organization of an adequate complementary medicine tourism event can increase tourists' motivation for visits and their significant relation to nature-based tourism, which would significantly affect on sustainable tourism development of spa tourism. The intensification of the growth of awareness among the respondents about the importance of complementary medicine in tourism planning and development is evident, and by providing socio-cultural, economic and environmental benefits, the basic postulates of sustainable tourism development are directly fulfilled.
