Abstract:The paper presents an overview of the current methodology and practice in modeling and control of the grinding process in industrial ball mills. Basic kinetic and energy models of the grinding process are described and the most commonly used control strategies are analyzed and discussed.
In this paper, we consider convex sets of real matrices and establish criteria characterizing these sets with respect to certain matrix properties of their elements. In particular, we deal with convex sets of P-matrices, block P-matrices and M-matrices, nonsingular and full rank matrices, as well as stable and Schur stable matrices. Our results are essentially based on the notion of a block P-matrix and extend and generalize some recently published results on this topic.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
