Based on the results of the analysis of world experience on the participation of higher education graduates in assessing the quality of educational activities of higher education institutions and the quality of higher education in general, the possibility of including students in expert groups for monitoring the quality of higher education has been substantiated. There was considered the history of implementation the toolkit for surveying the students into the mechanisms of monitoring the higher education quality. Comparative analysis of the domestic experience on attracting the higher education graduates to the assessment of higher education quality with the relevant foreign experience has been conducted. The peculiarities of the organization and conducting of students surveys within the framework of the international consortium "Student experience in the research university" are determined. The authors have considered the prospects of use of the online survey toolkit for the quality control system in higher education, as well as the level of professional activity of universities. The requirements for a software product, that the expert in assessing the quality of higher education can use to ensure the effectiveness of online surveys of students and the guaranteed achievement of the goal of appropriate monitoring are given. The advantages and disadvantages of online surveys of students as a tool for monitoring the quality of higher education have been identified. The benefits of using the cloud service survey by the organizer for development of the questionnaire for students surveys and analysis of the received answers have been proved. In addition, the paper provides conclusions on the possibility of using the online survey of students in the system for quality assurance in higher education both at university and at the state level, as well as practical recommendations on the use of questionnaires for higher education applicants in the framework of mechanisms for monitoring its quality. The directions of further scientific researches concerning the development and using cloud technologies for assessing the level of quality assurance in higher education institutions, the quality of educational activities and higher education as a whole have been formulated.
The object of this study is the detection of fires in the premises. The problem that was solved is the development of tools to assess the reliability of detection of fires in the premises based on the recurrence of the vector of increases in dangerous parameters of the gas environment. The method includes the sequential implementation of five procedures related to the formation of the vector of current increases in dangerous parameters, determining the recurrence of the current vector and evaluating the empirical distribution function relative to the calculated current recurrence of the state vector. Features and distinctive attributes of the developed method are the use of empirical cumulative distribution function in relation to the current recurrence of the state of hazardous parameters of the gas environment in the premises during fires. This makes it possible to solve the task of developing tools for the numerical determining of the trust limit for the predefined level of significance (reliability) and the likelihood of detecting fires in the premises in real time. The scope and conditions for the practical use of the obtained results are the modern and promising means and fire protection systems of various types of premises in buildings and structures. The proposed method was tested on the example of igniting test materials in the laboratory chamber. It is established that for materials with a high combustion rate (alcohol and cellulose) with a probability of 0.95, there is a sharp decrease in the value of the empirical function assessment to zero values. For timber, the value of this estimate is 0.15, and for textiles, the minimum value of the estimate is 0.31. It is established that the boundaries of the confidence interval with the level of significance covering the obtained estimates are determined by the value of ±0.086. In general, the results of the test indicate the operability of the proposed method for determining the reliability of detection of fires in the premises on the basis of the current degree of recurrence of increases in dangerous parameters of the gas environment
The article considers the problem of the recovery period of activity of specialists of risky professions after their performance of tasks on purpose. In solving this problem, it was suggested to use socio-psychological training. Within the framework of this issue, a study was conducted on the basis of the educational and scientific laboratory of extreme and crisis psychology of the research center of the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine. Rescuers took part in it, were directly involved in the elimination of the consequences of emergencies. In order to restore the psychological stability of rescuers, specialists of the training and research laboratory of extreme and crisis psychology of the research center of NUCDU developed a socio-psychological training with a clear structure that corresponds to the professional activities of hazardous professions, including rescuers. During the study of the influence of psychological training technologies on the personality of specialists of emergency rescue units, a methodical algorithm was used: the method of observation, questionnaires, the method of color choices, the method of "Anxiety Research" Ch.D. Spielberger (adapted version by YL Khanin), method "Forecast-2", statistical methods. As a result of the study, the positive impact of socio-psychological training on the process of restoring the psychological resilience of specialists in high-risk occupations in the post-disaster period was proved.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
