Patients with unilateral CSCR were observed to have long-term bilateral colour discrimination defects, and eyes with clinical CSCR were determined to have central relative scotoma and loss of contrast sensitivity.

Corneal infiltration gradually decreased, presumably because of the systemic, topical, and subconjunctival steroids. Late complications observed in this case included a substantial decrease in cornea endothelial cell density, a corneal scar, and anterior capsular opacity.

These results suggest that esculetin may be an alternative treatment option for endotoxin-induced inflammation and oxidative stress, which therefore may inhibit the development of LPS-mediated AMD.

The fibrinogen to albumin ratio is significantly associated with ischemic RVO. Instead of complicated and invasive methods, such as a retinal angiogram, the fibrinogen to albumin ratio could be a useful initial diagnostic test to predict ischemia in RVO.
