Pendidikan Dasar di Indonesia memberikan mata pelajaran seni budaya yang di dalamnya tercakup materi musik. Pendidikan Dasar tingkat Sekolah Dasar pada kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2016 pembelajarannya diubah dalam bentuk pembelajaran tematik namun demikian musik tetap digunakan sebagai alat pendidikan. Untuk tingkatan Sekolah Menengah Pertama tetap menggunakan nama mata pelajaran seni budaya yang di dalamnya tercakup materi musik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kebutuhan dan pengembangan materi ajar seni budaya sub materi musik untuk Pendidikan Dasar SD dan SMP. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah research development. Lokasi penelitian, Kota dan Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan treangulasi data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan alur analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, materi ajar seni budaya sub materi musik dalam praktik pembelajarannya dikembangkan oleh setiap guru. Secara menonjol para guru Sekolah Dasar selalu mengganti lirik lagu yang sudah ada diganti dengan lirik materi pelajaran untuk memasukkan pesan pendidikan yang diinginkan oleh guru. Untuk Sekolah Menengah Pertama membutuhkan media-media tentang musik lokal dan atau daerah serta media-media yang berhubungan dengan musik diatonis, baik untuk teknik vokal atau permainan instrumen.
Manthous’s Campursari is a blend of Javanese gamelan pentatonic music with popular music in Indonesia which is based on Western diatonic music. The tones of gamelan and the frequencies of the tune are all transformed into diatonic tone frequency. However, the harmonization which is used is pentatonic harmony of Javanese gamelan. Manthous’s Campursari has succesfully become one of the major music industries since it is supported by three components, namely the organizers of the music productions, the current distribution of music productions, and the needs of the community. The role of mass media is also very helpful toward the existence of this work. News about Manthous’s and his Campursari spread out widely to the public through the mass media. In a relatively short time of its emergence, Manthous’s Campursari has become a mass cultural Javanese music.Keywords: Campursari, mass culture, music industryABSTRAKCampursari karya Manthous adalah sebuah campuran dari musik pentatonik gamelan Jawa dengan musik populer di Indonesia yang mengacu padaMusik diatonis Barat. This study aims to identify, reveal, analyze and describe adaptation of Andy Irawan Music's efforts to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic in the wedding music industry. The author uses an interdisciplinary approach, by borrowing theories and concepts from the disciplines of musicology, sociology, and economics. The object in this study is industry and adaptation, with the subject Andy Irawan Music. The research design uses an interpretive case study located in Semarang. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Andy Irawan Music could adapt during the Covid-19 pandemic. Adaptation efforts made by Andy Irawan Music include appearing with new formations, optimizing the use of social media/ digital platforms, applying virtual music, following recommended health protocols, participating in wedding showcases, and creating Andy Irawan Disciples.
Singing activities are general activities that seem very easy. It could be said that anyone can sing. However, to be able to sing well and correctly seems to need to be learned. For Junior High Schools in Indonesia, singing activities are included in the teaching material of cultural arts sub music material. This study aims to “analyze how singing activities are taught in classes on learning Art and sub music material”. The approach of this research is interdisciplinary which involves music disciplines and music learning. The research method applied is interpretive qualitative. The research location is Semarang, by involving Semarang Junior High School Students and Teachers as the subject of research. Data collection techniques used in this research is observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data validity technique is using data source triangulation. Data analysis techniques used in this research are interactive flow. The results showed that teachers taught singing, both in classes Vll, Vlll, and Vlll. Singing activity for class Vll focused on basic singing techniques. The eighth grade is focused on singing, whose vocals or singing techniques are more applied to singing local songs and Nusantara songs. Meanwhile, singing activity in class VIII is more focused on improvising any song. This study concludes that teachers always emphasize the use of western song singing models as a basic technique, regardless of the type of song used in the learning process.
This study aims to analyze the educational values of that is implemented through the process of interaction in the musical play of the "Pantun Pitutur" song in the Suma Budhaya group performance. This study used a qualitative method with an interdisciplinary approach to sociology and education. The data were collected by using observation, interview, and document study techniques. The data analysis procedures used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The validity of the data used were triangulation, data sources, and theory. The results showed that in the musical play "Pantun Pitutur" there was a process of social interaction among fellow musicians, musicians with the Suma Budhaya group, and the Suma Budhaya group with the community. Social interaction occurs through communication and social contact symbolically by using language, signs, and body language. Social contact in this performance is primary and positive. The social interaction process that was impledmented contains several educational values to the community. The educational values include; 1). Religious Value; 2). Cooperation Value; 3). Pluralist Value; and 4). Responsibility Value. The results of this study can be used as a reference regarding the study of educational values.
