The library is a gate of science and a heart of civilization. Indonesia already has a Perpustakaan Nasional consisted of 27 floors and is equipped with facilities that are adequate for user needs. Apart from that, we need to see opinions from the community as users. Public opinion about the library is critical for library managers to evaluate services and facilities from the library. One way to find out the views of the community is by using social media twitter. Twitter social media is often used in channelling opinions or expressing opinions about specific topics; besides social media, twitter is commonly used for digital campaign movements. Submission of views and even digital campaigns on Twitter social media greatly influence the opinions and even behaviour of society in various ways. This study analyzes tweets about national libraries by classifying, positive opinions, negative opinions and neutral opinions. In this study, twitter data will go through the preprocessing, weighting, and classification stages. TF-IDF and TF binary are used in weighting in this study. The classification used in this study is Naive Bayes and KNN. Accuracy, precision, and recall values were also used in this study to evaluate classification performance. The highest classification performance using KNN classification with TF-IDF weighting resulted in the value of accuracy, precision, and recall of 83.33%, 79.2%, and 83.3% respectively.
Dalam beberapa tahun kebelakang ini penggunaan sistem informasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan di perpustakaan. Penerapan Sistem informasi di perpustakaan dianggap mempengaruhi layanan perpustakaan terhadap pengguna. Dalam penelitian ini fokus pembahasannya adalah untuk memperdalam variable-variabel yang ada di dalam teori kepuasan pengguna sistem informasi yang dikemukaan oleh Delone Mclean. Proses pengambilan data menggunakan sampel yaitu Pegawai SMK Negeri 5 Kota Malang sejumlah 106 orang yang didasarkan pada perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Kualitas Informasi, Kualitas Sistem dan Kualitas Layanan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna. This research article discusses the evaluation of the e-thesis information system in the Library and Information Science program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The background of this research is that the system is relatively new and is supported by several preliminary surveys conducted among users, most of whom are unfamiliar with the use of this e-thesis application system. The research population was taken from all students of the Library and Information Science Department in the 2018 and 2019 academic years, with a research sample of 50 students. The honeycomb method was used as the analysis tool for the evaluation, which emphasizes how UX can go beyond just usability aspects for users. The assessment aspects in the honeycomb method include useful, usable, desirable, findable, accessible, credible, and valuable. The research results showed that the overall average value of the e-thesis information system was 4.10, indicating that the e-thesis system is considered good in terms of its use. The highest score of 4.23 was found in the useful aspect, indicating that students agreed that the e-thesis information system could solve user problems and meet their needs. The lowest score of 3.93 was found in the accessible aspect, which needs improvement for future development of the information system. Indicators that need attention for improvement include less appealing design and the need to enhance capabilities. Suggested improvements include visual design, an advance search button, display of two thesis advisors, UI refresh, minimizing errors, and detailed schedule display on the homepage. Improving the existing features according to the research conducted can have a wide impact on the use of the information system and can be used continuously without errors.
College library is required to improve the quality and quantity of their services. One of the efforts made by IAIN Kediri Library is the existence of E-Theses IAIN Kediri. E-Theses IAIN Kediri is expected to give easiness for IAIN Kediri student to access scientific work of civitas academica. However, students still find it difficult. Therefore usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri is necessary to fix the problem. In this study the method used is the USE Questionnaire where has 4 variables, i.e. usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find the results of usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri and the repair result. After usability evaluation, improvement suggestions are given matching the repair result. In this study, the results of usability evaluation on E-Theses IAIN Kediri for the usefulness variable obtained value of 3,76, ease of use variable obtained value of 3,50, ease of learning variable obtained value of 3,61, and satisfaction variable obtained value of 3,60. Based on the results of task scenario and addition questions, there is a problem like can't find scientific work as the wish, not have a user guide, confusing user interface, and feature not working properly. Therefore, improvement suggestions are given about repair the user interface, adding a complaint feature, information about user guide, user education, and improvement suggestion about library policy
Final Project is one of the academic stages that must be passed by students to obtain a degree. In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the stages to achieving this degree must be done online by students. To accommodate this, we need a system that can bridge so that the final project stages can run even online. The system is an online final project system that was built to match the flow of the final project needs of each university. In the system there are stages of guidance, scheduling, conducting assessments, and uploading revised results. From all these stages, evaluation and assessment are needed so that the online final project system can be developed easily. The evaluation and assessment method used is usability, because usability techniques can find out the shortcomings of the system directly from the user. Using the Software Usability System (SUS) questionnaire which involved 58 respondents at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, resulted in an average score of 78.92. Based on the results of the average score of the SUS questionnaire on the online final project system which resulted in 78.92, the online final project system has a good usability level.
