In the practice of pencak silat, training programs and special methods are needed so that students can quickly understand the material that has been conveyed. Based on initial observations made at the PSHT Ranting Kandangan Kediri Branch with 16.1 percent mastering it, they did not use special methods in an effort to improve the T kick technique skills and the T kick was a difficult kick to do. Therefore, the researchers created a new method with the drill method which aims to improve the skills of the T-kick technique in the students of PSHT Ranting Kandangan, Kediri Branch. This study uses PTO or sports action research with 16 students as a subject with green belt levels. This data collection uses tests, observations, interviews and documentation. In cycle 1, students get a percentage of 76.1 percent with good qualifications and in cycle 2 get 93.7 percent students who master with very good qualifications. After doing research, proves that the drill method can improve students' skills. With a final result of 93.7 percent, this study was declared successful.
