Education is the main thing in life. Every human being has the right to obtain education as development and progress in itself. Education is always associated with learning and directly proportional to study habits. The success of the learning process depends on students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Student motivation is also influenced by conformism. In adolescence, conformity is very influential on consideration in making decisions. Furthermore, adolescence is an unstable phase and is very sensitive to conformity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between compliance and learning motivation of students in class X of SMKN 2 Kota Solok. The population in this study was Class X, Department of Light Vehicle Engineering, SMKN 2 Kota Solok, for the 2020/2021 academic year, there were 120 students. The sample for this study consisted of 48 students from SMKN 2 Kota Solok. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate the value of rcount > rtable which indicates the validity and the Cronbach alpha > 0.6 which indicates the reliability of the research data. After analyzing the correlation test, it was found that the high level of compliance in class X resulted in the inhibition of students' motivation to learn. Students who perform well tend to be noticed by their peers and have higher motivation than students who perform well and tend to be ostracized by their peers.
Belum adanya metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif di SMK menyebabkan dilakukannya penelitian ini.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TGT (Team Game Tournament) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran instalasi tenaga listrik.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TITL 1 di SMK Negeri 5 Padang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain quasy experimental dengan one grouppretest-postest. Dalam penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes dan angket.Pre-test, post-test, dan angket digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis effect size, uji homogenitas, dan uji normalitasyang digunakanuntuk analisis data. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, terbukti bahwa siswa kelas XI TITL 1 SMKN 5 Padang menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT sangat berhasil. Nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 63,87, nilai rata-rata postest adalah 79,87, dan perhitungan analisis effect size Cohen adalah 1,73 (95,5%), menunjukkan kategori besar sejak pembelajaran TGT digunakan. Model pembelajaran TGT memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa karena dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan semangat siswa dalam belajar.Berdasarkan hasil angket, 56% responden sangat setuju bahwa model pembelajaran TGT sangat efektif.Hal ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa siswa menganggap model pembelajaran TGT sebagai metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan efisien yang dapat meningkatkan semangat mereka untuk belajar di mata pelajaran instalasi tenaga listrik.
