<p>Cultivating of melon particularly in Central Kalimantan has been widely undertaken by farmers, however, the yields have not been able to meet the melon needs of Central Kalimantan's community. One of the breakthroughs in overcoming the problem is by growing melons on swamp floating beds, namely ambul technology. Ambul is growing media from decomposed floating aquatic plants, constructed with bamboo or wooden as a frame, that is let floating on waters. The ambul based on the consideration that the community lacks access to land for most of the year, which reduces opportunities for growing crops. The research design used was Split Plot Design with three kinds of aquatic plants as the main factor namely <em>Eichornia crassipes, Salvinia molesta, Eleocharis palustris</em>, and two melon varieties as subplot factors specifically Action 434 and Amanta. The results showed that the Amanta variety grown on <em>S. molesta</em> media produced the highest value of crop length on 1, 2, 3 weeks after planting (WAP). <em>S. molesta</em> was the best planting media for enhancing flowering by 11.43 days after planting (DAP) and weight of fruit (3.18 kg per plant. The variety of Amanta also had the highest value of root dry weight of 1.33 g per plant and fruit weight of 2.08 kg per plant.</p>
Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon tiga varietas kedelai terhadap pemberian pupuk hayati ultra gen pada tanah podsolik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas kedelai pada tanah podsolik. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor dengan 12 taraf percobaan yang diulang sebanyak 3(tiga) kali sehingga diperoleh 36 satuan percobaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan pemberian dosis pupuk hayati cair (ultra gen) tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan sedangkan perlakuan varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen, berat polong dan berat 100 biji tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah polong. Tetapi dengan analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pemberian pupuk ultra gen dan varietas terhadap variable-variabel tersebut. Dimana pada variabel tinggi tanaman memiliki koefisisen determinan (R2) 97%, umur berbunga memiliki R2 33%, umur panen memiliki R2 32.6%, jumlah polong memiliki R2 40.6%, berat polong memiliki R2 60%, dan berat 100 biji memiliki koefisien determinan R2 36%.
This research aims to analyze the influence of compensation, work life balance, development opportunities of Employee Engagement Gen Y in PT “X”. Engagement is one of the factors that support business sustainability in a company and measure where the needs are given to the company. This type of research is quantitative, data collection techniques survey (questionnaires) with a research sample of 122 (one hundred and twenty-two) respondents who are employees of PT “X” with an age range of 25 to 40 years. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the Part Least Square (PLS) model and Multiple Linear Regression to determine simultaneously the influence of Compensation, Work Life Balance, development opportunities of Employee Engagement. The results of this research indicate that Compensation, Work Life Balance, development opportunities both partially and simultaneously have positively significant effect on the Employee Engagement Gen Y in PT “X”.Keywords: Employee Engagement; Compensation; Work Life Balance; Development Opportunities; Part Least Square; Multiple Linear Regression Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi, Work life balance, kesempatan berkembang terhadap Employee Engagement Gen Y di PT “X”. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Part Least Square (PLS) dan Regresi Linier Berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompensasi, Work life balance, Kesempatan Berkembang secara simultan terhadap Employee Engagement.
