One of the aims in learning natural science is to lead the students have a strong belief of a greatness of God and also to develop their skill of natural science. For that reason, in natural science teaching-learning process, a teacher has to develop students' spiritual attitude and process skill in order to reach curriculum demand. This study aims to have information about teachers' ability in developing students' Islamic spiritual attitude and process skill based on their lesson planning and learning process of natural science classroom at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Krueng Sabee. The research method used was descriptive method. The instrument of the research was an analysis guide of RPP to find the ability of teacher in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill in RPP; a learning observation sheet to find the ability of the teachers in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill in learning process; and an interview guide to find the teachers' obstacles in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill as a support data. The data was analyzed by using percentage which later was described based on the research questions. The study found that the teachers' ability in developing spiritual attitude was still very low with percentage 0%; meanwhile, the ability of teachers in developing spiritual attitude in learning process was variety for each activity; Only at the beginning activities, the teachers were able to develop spiritual attitude with percentage 100%; for final activities, the result was 50% and for core activities was 0%. The teachers' ability of sainsprocessskill was also not good as not all the teachers were able to develop a complete KPS indicator in both RPP and learning process.
The problem it is found that at the university there is no (Islamic Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) I-STEM learning module as a guide for lecturers in implementing science learning. For this reason, this study aims to (1) Design Islamic STEM-based science modules on Newton's Law material (2) Assess Islamic STEM-based science modules on Newton's Law material. This study uses a Design Development Research (DDR) approach using the Dick and Carey instructional design model. The sample of this research is three experts, three senior lecturers and six science lecturers. The instruments of this research are observation sheets, interviews and questionnaires which are analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis is used for need analysis and module design. While the quantitative analysis for the assessment of the module which is analyzed using SPSS and excel. The results showed that (1) Islamic STEM-based science module design in Newton's Law material followed the three steps of the Dick and Carey instructional design model, namely needs analysis, module development and module assessment. (2) The results of assessment by expert, senior lecturers and science lecturers show that Islamic STEM-based science modules on Newton's law material are appropriate for using in the science learning process in universities.AbstrakPermasalahan di lapangan didapati bahwa di universitas belum tersedianya modul pembelajaran berbasis Islamic STEM (I-STEM) sebagai panduan bagi dosen dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendesain modul IPA berbasis I-STEM pada materi Hukum Newton (2) Menilai modul IPA berbasis I-STEM pada materi Hukum Newton. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design Development Research (DDR) dengan menggunakan model desain instruksional Dick and Carey. Sampel penelitian ini adalah tiga orang pakar, tiga orang dosen senior dan enam orang dosen IPA. Adapun instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, wawancara dan angket yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kulaitatif digunakan untuk analisis kebutuhan dan dan desain modul. Sedangkan analisis kuantitatif untuk penilaian modul yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS dan excell. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan (1) Desain modul IPA berbasis I-STEM pada materi Hukum Newton mengikut tiga langkah dari model desain instruksional Dick and Carey yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan modul dan penilaian modul. (2) Hasil penilaian pakar, dosen senior dan dosen IPA menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA berbasis I-STEM pada materi hukum Newton layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA di perguruan tinggi.
Tujuan Pembelajaran IPA bukan hanya menyampaikan konsep pada mahamahasiswa tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman pada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses, sehingga mahamahasiswa dapat menemukan sendiri konsep yang akan dipelajarinya secara mandiri. Pembelajaran IPA yang berlangsung di jurusan PGMI selama ini cenderung dilakukan dengan menyampaikan konsep materi pada mahamahasiswa sehingga keterampilan proses mahamahasiswa tidak terkembangkan dengan baik. Penelitian tentang Peningkatan keterampilan sains mahamahasiswa PGMI melalui Penerapan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses pada pembelajaran bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains mahamahasiswa PGMI setelah diajarkan dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Sampel diambil dua unit yaitu 1 dan 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk menguji kemampuan keterampilan proses mahasiswa. Tes dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap yaitu Pre-Test dan Post Test. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya sekitar 80- 94% mahasiswa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan pada semua aspek keterampilan proses sains, sedangkan untuk mahasiswa kelas kontrol, sebagian besar mahasiswa hanya mengalami peningkatan keterampilan proses sains sekitar 60- 79%. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada konsep dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahamahasiswa PGMI Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses, dan Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Mahasiswa. The Learning objectives of IPA (science subject) are not only to explain the concept to students but also to give experience to the studeSnts to develop processing skills, so that students can construct the knowledge by themselves. Lately, the learning process in PGMI tended to be carried out by transferring the concept to the students so that the students’ processing skill have not developed well. This research aimed to analyze and describe the improvement of science processing skill of PGMI’s students after implementing the science processing skill approach. This study used experimental method. Two units of classes were chosen as the samples of the research, namely experimental class and control one. The data collecting technique used in this research was test of processing skill, namely pre-test and post-test. The data then analyzed by using percentage formula. The result showed that in general, all aspects of science processing skills were increased about 80 to 94% in experimental class, whereas for the control class, the science processing skills of students were increased around 60% to 79 %. It indicated that the implementation of the science processing approach to the concept could improve science processing skills of PGMI’s students. The development of character values for students is an obligation for every higher education institution to ensure that students' national education goals and competency achievements can be carried out correctly. This study aims to describe and obtain data about the role of Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN) Aceh in fostering student character values. The method used in this research is descriptive. Data was collected using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in interviews, documentation, observation, and FGD. Data analysis was performed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the role of PTKIN Aceh in fostering student character values was carried out through the formulation of a vision and mission, curriculum, programs, rules, facilities, and the implementation of lecture activities that were oriented towards student character. Character planting in lecture activities is still carried out in various ways by each course instructor.
