Two Zn II -tetrazole-carboxylate coordination compounds are reported, mononuclear [Zn(atzpa) 2 (H 2 O) 4 ]·2H 2 O (1) and onedimensional [Zn(atzpa) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ] n (2), derived from 5-aminotetrazole-1-propanoic acid (Hatzpa). The structures of both compounds are determined by the pH value of the reaction system. The luminescence properties of Hatzpa and the compounds were investigated at room
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
