Uang kertas merupakan salah satu alat pembayaran yang masih banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat, walaupun dewasa ini penggunaan uang elektronik atau e-money sudah menjadi gaya hidup. Masyarakat juga sudah melakukan transaksi tidak hanya dengan manusia tetapi juga dengan mesin seperti menabung uang on-line atau membeli barang dengan perantara mesin. Dengan demikian, teknologi untuk pendeteksi atau pembacaan nominal uang khususnya untuk uang kertas juga terus berkembang. Selaras dengan kondisi tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan suatu sistem yang dapat membaca nominal uang kertas menggunakan pengenalan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation. Uang kertas yang digunakan adalah uang kertas dengan nominal Rp 20.000, Rp 50.000, dan Rp 100.000. Uang kertas yang telah disinari cahaya ultraviolet (UV) diambil gambar menggunakan webcam. Citra uang selanjutnya diproses dengan tahapan preprocessing, segmentasi, thinning, ekstraksi ciri dan pengenalan angka oleh sistem. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan maka didapatkan hasil bahwa tingkat akurasi sistem mendeteksi nominal uang kertas sebesar 78,8%, tingkat presisi mendeteksi nominal 20.000 sebesar 96,67%, nominal 50.000 sebesar 73,3%, dan nominal 100.000 sebesar 66,67%.Kata-kata kunci: uang, webcam, JST Bacpropagation, akurasi, presisi
Spider robot is controlled using ATMega32 microcontroller and programmed using C language on CV AVR Software. This robot is designed to help people in the fire fighting in the fire accident. This robot has 3 ultrasonic PING sensors that are placed on the front, right and left as a distance detector to regulate the movement of the robot and a flame detector sensor that is placed on the front as a fire detector. Robot also has 2 work modes that are manual mode and automatic mode. Manual mode is a mode where the movement of the robot is ordered to use the remote bluetooth with 7 meters of maximum distance, while the automatic mode is the mode where the movement of the robot fully using PING ultrasonic sensors. From the results of fire detection testing, the robot is able to detect the presence of fire less than 20 cm, in that position the robot will stop and turn on the fan automatically. Furthermore, from the results of robot movement testing, the robot detects the presence of obstacle as far as 20 cm, in that position the robot will stop and it will read the ultrasonic sensor PING on the right and left to decide the next movement.
Watching television at close range can be bad for eye health such as nearsightedness (myopia). Watching television with a distance of less than 5 times the diagonal of the television can have adverse effects on the health of the eye lens such as nearsightedness, photochemical injuries, and astigmatism. Damage to the lens of the eye is caused by the blue light emitted by the television. Therefore, an ATMega32-based Smart Sensor Television Design Tool was created, which is an automatic television viewing distance detector as an effort to maintain eye health while watching television. In watching television, there are several rules that must be obeyed so that the bad effects of television blue light do not come to us. One of them is the distance of the television monitor screen to the eye must follow the applicable standard calculations. If the distance rules are violated, eye health can be threatened.
HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station), the infrastructure that is made to change BTS/BS, it could be one of solution to reduce cost and capacity problem. HAPS is like airship or aircraft that is placed on stratosphere line, the distance of platform is 17-22 km from earth surface. Because of that position, it’s affected by wind gusting, so that HAPS’s position can change from normal state that is called Platform Displacement. This research explain about the impacted of platform displacement to mobile station (MS) during HO process which is measured delay HO value. User is mobile wimax user who is doing communication using VoIP. Platform will be simulated in some position, horizontal position and vertical position, than MS moves on some speed, first, in medium speed is 50 Km/hour and 80 Km/hour, second high speed is 120 km/hour dan 200 km/hour. When platfor moves to the higher position will increase the coverage of cells, so each cell will interfere their neighbor. The effect of changing it position is perceived by user in transition area, this condition can disturb the HO process.
Pendokumentasian buku Tugas Akhir (TGA) mahasiswa sangat penting untuk pemetaan penelitian serta meminimalisir adanya tindakan plagiarisme Pada beberapa kasus banyak buku TGA yang belum terdata dengan benar, sehingga staf administrasi perpustakaan baik tingkat institusi dan jurusan harus mendata ulang dengan sistem manual sehingga kegiatan ini dapat menghabiskan waktu yang tidak sedikit. Dengan alasan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem yang dapat membantu proses dokumentasi yang cepat dan mudah. Sistem berupa perangkat lunak berbasis pengolahan citra digital. Citra sampul buku TGA diambil menggunakan webcam dan selanjutnya diproses dengan tahapan preprocessing, binerisasi, segmentasi dan pengenalan karakter. Hasil penelitian berupa data judul buku. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain proses akuisisi dibantu dengan kotak peletakan buku, Otsu Thresholding, segmentasi, dan pengenalan pola menggunakan metode Koefisian Korelasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa tingkat keberhasilan keseluruhan sistem dalam mengenali pola citra huruf pada buku TGA mahasiswa sebesar 95%.
