The purpose of this research is to find out the nutrient content on five types of livestock manure compost which made of the mix of some livestock manure. This research uses three stages starting from the inventory, then analyzing the data, and finally interpretation of the data for the parameters: follow-up material, color, odor, moisture or water content, Reaction Fertilizer PH, Levels of C Organic, Levels of Total N, Total P, Total K, and Fe. The inventory stage is conducted in laboratory using fast accurate qualitative methods based on Soil Research Center manual guide (2015). The research showed the results of the analysis of physical quality of blackish brown color, soil smells, moisture content less than 50% have met the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-7030-2004. However, based on Decree of the Minister of Agriculture no 28/Permentan/SR.130/B/2009, the water content obtained under the requirements is only in the range of 7.82 to 13.31 from 15-25% while the follow-up material showed <2%. The test results using a set of compost test tools showed N Total content of the livestock manure mixture compost that were made in the range of 2-3% (SNI standard >0,4% and Decree of the Minister of Agriculture <6%), P2O5 1-1.5% (SNI standard >0.1% and Decree of the Minister of Agriculture <6%), C-Organic 10% (SNI standard >9,8-32% and Decree of the Minister of Agriculture >12%), and Fe content 1000-2000 ppm (Decree of the Minister of Agriculture standard 0-8000 ppm), PH 5-7 (SNI standard 6,8 and Decree of the Minister of Agriculture standard 7,49). The experiment pot of the effect compost in the critical land on the production onions, peanuts, and soybeans, the goal is to get organic agricultural production and determine the optimal dose of compost for plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Before the experiment of compost treatment was conducted the compost and soil as media plant to analyse the chemical properties. After the experiment of compost treatment was conducted the soil as media plant to analyse the chemical properties. The experiment design of methode was used complate randamized design (CRD) with the five treatment compost and four replication. Dosage of compost consists of 0 tonnes/ha (0 g/pot) as a control, 30 tonnes /ha (75 g /pot); 60 tonnes/ha (150 g/pot); 90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot), and 120 tonnes/ha (300 g/pot). The parameter were observed wet weight of plants, quantity and weight beet the production plant of onions; wet weight of plants, quantity and weight of pod pea and seed the production plant of peanuts and soyabeans. The data of analysis was used the analysis of variance (Anova) and the least significant difference (LSD). The results showed that treatment of compost very significant effect on the growth and production of plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Treatment compost 90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot) provide growth and yield of plant onion, peanuts, and soybeans maximum. Sebelum percobaan perlakuan kompos dilakukan analisis beberapa sifat kimia dari kompos dan tanah sebagai media tanam. Sesudah percobaan perlakuan kompos dilakukan analisis beberapa sifat kimia dari tanah sebagai media tanam. Metode rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 (lima) perlakuan kompos dan 4 (empat) ulangan. Perlakuan dosis kompos terdiri dari 0 ton/ha (0 g/pot) sebagai kontrol, 30 ton /ha (75 g /pot); 60 ton/ha (150 g/pot); 90 ton/ha (225 g/pot), dan 120 ton/ha (300 g/pot). Parameter yang diamati adalah berat basa tanaman, jumlah umbi, berat umbi untuk tanaman bawang merah; berat basa tanaman, jumlah polong, berat polong, jumlah biji, dan berat biji untuk tanaman kacang tanah dan kedelai. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan analisis varians dan analisis beda nyata terkecil ( BNT). Hasil percobaan ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kompos berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah, kacang tanah, dan kedelai. Perlakuan kompos dengan dosis 90 ton/ha (225 g/pot) memberikan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah, kacang tanah, dan kedelai yang maksimum. This research aimed to determine the effects of compost applications on ex-mining lands by using chinese cabbage as indicator. The experiments were conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture greenhouse and the soil and compost analysis were done at the Soil Chemistry and Fertility Laboratory for a duration of two months. The research employed a Completely Randomized Design method with 5 treatments repeated 3 times to get 15 experimental units. The analysis on ex-mining soil revealed that it contained only trace amounts of soil nutrients N, P, and K. The laboratory analysis on the compost sample resulted in a C/N ratio of 11.87 which suggested that the compost was mature and ready to be used. The Analysis of Variance on research data showed that compost applications did not affect plant height between treatments at each weekly observation, and similarly did not affect leaf quantity and fresh weight at harvest time. However, the research found that the compost applications tended to improve plant height, leaf quantity, and fresh weight of plants at harvest time. The minimal effect of compost applications between treatments suggested that the plants did not utilized the nutrients supplied by the compost in their early stages of development. Moreover, it was also suspected that the compost applications had not been sufficient in supplying the soil nutrients needed by the plants to ensure proper growth which ultimately affected the fresh weight of the plants at harvest time.

Namun berdasarkan SK Mentan No 28/Permentan/SR.130/B/2009, kadar air yang diperoleh di bawah persyaratan hanya pada kisaran 7,82-13,31 dari persyaratan 15-25% sedangkan bahan ikutan menunjukkan <2%. Hasil uji dengan menggunakan seperangkat alat uji kompos menunjukkan kandungan N total untuk kompos campuran kotoran ternak yang dibuat berada pada kisaran 2-3% (standar SNI >0,4% dan SK Mentan <6%), P2O5 1-1.5 % (standar SNI >0,1% dan SK Mentan <6%), K2O <1% (standar SNI >0,2% dan SK Mentan <6%), C-organik 10% (standar SNI >9,8-32% dan SK Mentan >12%),dankadar Fe 1000-2000 ppm (standar SK Mentan 0-8000 ppm), pH 5-7 (standar SNI 6,8 dan SK Mentan 7,49).
Study on compost utilization to support organic strawberry production in Tomohon has been performed to promote the use of compost (mixture of chicken manure and rice husk) in organic strawberry and to determine the compost dosage producing highest strawberry yield. Completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 (four) replicates has been performed to apply various compost levels, namely 60 t/ha (SPo), 60 t/ha (SP1), 120 t/ha (SP2), 180 t/ha (SP3), and 240 t/ha (SP4). Data analysis has been conducted by means of analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the Least Significant Difference Test. The results revealed the significant yield differences among treatments. The highest result (28 fruits/ pot having 174.64 gram weight) was found in SP3 compost level (180 t/ha).Key words: compost, agricultural land Rurukan Tomohon, strawberries
